Under Seige 3

Hi everyone

Have you heard that Under Seige 3 now has a director, the man who directed Exit Wounds, and a story with Casey Ryback facing off against Muslim terrorists on a plane from Israel to the USA. This movie will be a great follow up to The Yakuza etc. The movie is now in production, so I guess Steven will get to it soon. Now that Under Seige 3 has a recognised director and story it will definately happen. I look forward to the day it is released, what a way to finish a great movie franchise.

Can you quote a reference or do a direct link for this news?

If your only source is imdb then I have nothing else to say... :(

Yes, well... as for the plot outline given - isn't that Executive Decision's plot?

"Been there, done that".

No. It'll be a great disappointment if they did Under Seige 3 on a plane. It's been done so many times before, there is nothing left that can be done. Executive Decision, Passenger 57, Die Hard II, Con Air - no. No. No. No. No. No.

I dont think that US3 will ever be made. A few years ago they had it rumoured that Davis was directing it and he had no idea and now its rumoured that he is producing it(very doubtful) and now they have Andrzej Bartkowiak directing it all of a sudden. Can any of you see Warner Bros pumping 50-60 million dollars into another Under Siege when Seagal is only making STV movies as of late..
I'm also beginning to doubt that Ghenghis Khan will ever be made..I know there wont be any studio pumping 60 mill into it like it was rumoured and there still is no director or anything on it..I think Seagal's only upcoming theatrical release will be Yakuza and if that does very good at the box office some studio may consider doing another Under Siege. Right now nothing is happening with US3..

It's the same ol' time will tell scenario.

Doesn't really matter if it's imdb,Jon Marsh,Hollywood Reporter or God reporting;untill I read production has begun and/or fellow actors are announced then i'm gonna have to plead a no,no go to this one :(

I also have to agree with others when they say that the plot on imdb sounds far 2 familir with other action/plane/hi-jack movies. On a plus side having Andrjeiz Barthowiak could be a good idea.

I still wish this movie would happen rather than nothing at all.

Die Hard 3,T3,Super Cop 3,Rambo 3,,American Pie 3...ooops!I think I may have gone 2 far there
