Hello everyone
Thanks Amos, G-Man, Lotus, Mama san, Xeo, and Suzi, for the warm welcome.
I have just returned home to Phoenix, AZ. last week,
What a long strange trip it's been
I won't go into a lot of details, but I'll touch on some of the highlights though
I bought a truck in South Carolina and after a few weeks it broke down and left me stranded. Being the survivor that I am, I managed to find work and a place to stay. (which isn't easy without a car)
While trying to figure out what was wrong with my truck, I happened into a little Karate dojo ran by a 5th Dan. She was pretty cool and taught a traditional style. After talking to her on a few occasions, we decided that it would be good for her students to learn some throws. Her dojo was set up with a private room in the back.
So I taught a couple of weekend seminars in exchange for the use of the room. In which I taught a couple of private students.
I was staying in a little ran down hotel at Folly Beach, SC. with the beach just outside my window. I could sit out on the beach at night listen to the waves crash into the shore and play the flute. That was my favorite part of the trip.
All I can say is.... I'm glad to be home and I should be able to pop in from time to time
Take care all
Respectfully,
Rev.Dean
