Hey we all do :D :D

You're not kidding, Mason! :D I was at my brother's house a week ago and my 6 y/o nephew was watching Jackie Chan's The Medallion. He was doing some kicks and waving his arms and said, "He's gonna kick their ass!"

He knew exactly what he said, because he immediately whipped his head around to see if his mother was in earshot! :D

It's a set up I tell ya! :=))

"As the men change and so women start looking at them with different eyes." LOL Tora ('men change' coming from a woman ... LOL) - and LOL there's also a 'saying' going around like that about 'looking with different eyes' - "after your final drink of whiskey, you wonder where all the ugly people went."

Seagal was awesome in his 90's works, and he still is ...

LOL--Did you ever hear this country song by Mickey Gilley? Great barroom tune--especially at closing time. :D

The girls all get prettier at closing time
They all begin to look like movie stars
The girls all get prettier at closing time
When the change starts taking place
It puts a glow on every face
Of the falling angels of the back street bars

If I could rate'em on a scale from 1 to 10
I'm lookin' for a 9 but 8 would slip right in
A few more drinks and I might slip to a 5 or even a 4
But when tomorrow morning comes, and I wake up with a number 1
I swear I'll never do it anymore

It's just a joke - nothing personal, and was never intended to be.

LOL No, Serena I haven't heard that one, but funny - absolutely!

Wow (talk about that unexpected emotional joke that Serena seemed to be the only one to get in some other thread) ... Julie Scarborough: I wasn't referring to Steven Seagal or whatever you thought, I was just trying to have some fun with something that was said earlier.

To wrestle this thread forcefully back on topic...

He had a different look for almost every film. I liked his look in Above the Law, for example, better than Hard to Kill; OFK and MFD about the same. Under Seige (both) were good, the first one I liked his look slightly better than the second, though (don't know why, I just did). Despite health worries from extra weight, FDB and The Glimmerman were looks that I liked, as well as HPD.

He looked just plain awful in both OFAK and BOTB - unhealthy, like he'd had too much good living and not enough clean living. In those two films, he did not look like he was taking care of himself, at all.

The rest of his films - okay by me!

So, for me, I don't think any era was best, best - although the 80's-early 90's seem to be the best overall.

I think of him (Mr. Seagal) this way. Word picture here: My husband looks older and a little balder than when we married sixteen years ago. I still love him. He still loved me when I was heavier and now that I have a few gray hairs to cover. Like anyone we may look a little better thinner, and be a bit more healthier. I know My husband is glad I am at my normal weight again. He actually likes it better and I feel better. Mr. Seagal may be a bit over weight; I think that is why everyone is worried about him. For health reasons. He will always be handsome. I haven't seen his last two films to comment on. So yes he looked a bit better. ( healthier).

It isn't all about his looks, or his pounds, it's about charm and charisma...
And I think he still looks soooooo good, mmmmmm, soooo incredible, yes....
I seem to like the bigger more mature man, somehow I just really do, hehehe..;)
