I've always wanted to see that--even rented it once, but never had time to watch it. I saw it was on TV last night, but didn't want to watch it with all the commercials. Glad to hear it was so good. And I do like Dennis Quaid. Hard to imagine him and Randy as brothers, eh?Julie Scarborough said:

Ohhhh...I know which movies will be burning my DVD player now...I got Out for a Kill, Belly of the Beast, and Half Past Dead for Christmas.(I already saw Half Past Dead) Thats ok..can't watch it too many times. The movie was awesome...great fightscenes (though short) and awesome acting from Jean Claude Van Damme.. The best Van Damme movie in along time.
Yesterday I went to Tower Records to buy this movie but it doesn't come out till the 29th.

SPOILERS AHEAD:
Two great scenes in the movie is in the beginning where Jean Claude is having flashbacks while talking to one of his mobster freinds. He steps outside the nightclub were he works.. then some dudes is complaning becouse they'v been denied acess to the club .. Jean Claude knocks them to the ground and goes back inside.
The great thing about this scene is that it is filmed with handheld camera (only for that scene) .. The other scene is when a little chinese girl is a sleep and he wakes her up & asks her what happend & who Sun Quon is. He is really close to loosing his tember (this is when the great acting starts to kick in) when one of his mobster freinds says, Ben STOP it.One thing is for sure,he get's the revenge he wants in this movie

I love Zatoichi! That was one of Bruce Lee's favorite characters.

I thought you didn't care for sci-fi movies. But then again, I do get easily confused. I haven't heard many positive things about the Chronicles, but that never does influence me. Most people I know didn't like Pitch Black --or Steven's The Patriot. But I did. - Status
