I don't know the title of the movie in englifh.
In french it's : in the claws of the red dragon
Is this the one, Pantera? In English it's called "Showdown in Little Toykyo". Here's the synopsis from Amazon. Sounds like it would be enjoyable--in a campy sort of way. :D

Interesting how they *translated* the name of the movie, eh? :D

Showdown in Little Tokyo is a 1991 martial arts action-comedy that, in pitting Dolph Lundgren and Brandon Lee as L.A. cops against Japanese drug dealers, plays like a B-movie Tango and Cash or Lethal Weapon 2 (both released just two years before). Between career highs in Rocky IV (1985) and Universal Soldier (1992), Lundgren looked as if he might make it big at the box office, and clearly wanting to be the new Schwarzenegger he is here directed by Mark L Lester, who had earlier helmed Ah-nold's Commando (1985). In the event both actor and director headed for straight-to-video territory, while Lee (Bruce's son) went on to The Crow. The 75-minute running time suggests the studio lost confidence and seriously cut the movie though, as the space between the action is filled with nothing but cringe-inducing dialogue, thriller clichés, and Lundgren "romancing" Tia Carrere, it still makes sense. Basing its title on John Carpenter's 1986 fantasy-comedy Big Trouble in Little China and anticipating Rush Hour (1998), Showdown in Little Tokyo alternates between crude tongue-in-cheek moments and action so ludicrous it's unintentionally hilarious . A camp disaster that simply defies belief, this is so-bad-it's-good entertainment.

Can you believe I've never seen these? :D

One of these days, if I ever get one whole day to myself, with no obligations or commitments, I am going to rent all three and have a marathon! :D I'm positive I'd like them!

there's an old movie I like, it's called the Omega Man with Charlton Heston!!!
Great!the Band "police" made a song about it!
I used to play this song on my Guitar or on my Bass!
quite philosophical!
That's a great film, ahead of it's time and imitated since. They had to film the deserted city shots at dawn and clear traffic best they could, which gave a very creepy deserted city look.
With what happens to Heston,it's an unusual ending for the hero to get.
The Rings films i did not like at first, but they grow on you,and the character Gollum, though computer generated is brilliantly voiced ove. Mind you,the actor that does it portrays him at start of "Return Of The King".

That was a great movie! I love those futuristic, end-of-the-world type movies. Didn't know that about filming at dawn--but I guess you can't clear entire city blocks for a movie, eh? :D

Heston does like the different kind of endings! Look at Soylent Green. :D Another great one! And the ending of Planet of the Apes is a classic!

To much to say!! Serena the list of famous quotes from movies I wondered if
"If you build it they will come" I will look up!!

I know the store's have new movies but I don't ever think about movies when I get out!! Plus I like watching things over and over again!

I hate you didn't like Dances with Wolves, I loved it!

Lonewolf "A river run's through it" was also a very good movie I like Tom Skerritt, he is not always in high grossing films, but I think he is very good!
Robert Redford directed and I am not a huge fan of Brad but he did a good job also!
Pantera those eyes are gorgeous!! He was sort of a turn off in Hannibal, to me!
I don't think it was all him, I just liked Silence of the Lambs so much expected more from Hannibal!!
"If you build it." Yes, it was on that list, Lollipop! :D Since you hadn't come back to this since you posted this morning, I just checked. It was #39! :) I just LOVE that movie!! :D

Tom Skerritt is a great actor, in my opinion. Very underrated, I think. I thought he was terrific in Steel Magnolias--which I'm sure you know I hated, since you know me by now. :D

And no. You couldn't pay me to watch Dances With Wolves again. :D

Yes I did see and loved! "I see dead people" But I love Bruce Willis, all the way back to "Moon Lighting" days!! That was a great series!!
That was #44 on the list, Lollipop! :D Loved that movie!!

Me too about Bruce Willis! :) He's one of my top five favorite actors. And even though he's constantly dogged by the media and has never been given the credit he deserves, he still remains popular with fans! :)

yes that's it, serena. :)
the title in French coles from the name of the japanese gang in the movie:
the gang is the eagle claws and their company is the red dragon.
So the both together gives: in the claws of the red dragon. :)
i really love that movie.
the japanese house of Dolph Lundgrun is great and the way he uses the katana. All the fights. Well, for me it's a good martial arts movie :)

Of course i like john wayne. But i especially like spaghetti wetsern from sergio leone and with Clint eastwood as l'impitoyable (i don't know the title in English). There's another western movie i really like with terence hill: my name is nobody.:)

Charlton heston is indeed a really good actor. I have nothing agaibst the fact that he's president of the rifle association. I didn't like his attitude in bowling for colombine that's all. I liked his movie the 10th commandements :);)
