Politics without humor? What would be funny is if everyone played fair. Do you know how many dead folks, people in nursing homes, and such that are still registered to vote that have no clue on what is going on that will have people come in and vote for them. That is not right. If they can not decide for themselves who to vote for then their vote shouldn't be counted anymore. Especially the DEAD!
It would be funny to watch the media report honestly and fairly. It has been so long I do not think they know how.
Boy, I do NOT miss the Clinton days! :D
Everyone will hear what they want about the "truth." With all the changing of opinions and bla, bla, bla, here is quote I found I like: "You can twist perception but reality won't budge."~RUSH show don't tell.
Another: A lie gets halfway around the world before the TRUTH has a chance to get its pants on."~Winston Churchill

I participated in a phone poll last night(for the Dems, of course) :D
I personally talked to a lady who admittedly was in the early stages
of Alzheimer's. Of course, we crossed her off our list of potential voters.
She was broken hearted. :( I also talked to two gentlemen who were in nursing
home facilities and were of sound mind and eager to vote!

As for encouraging people, who are not of sound mind to vote, I am almost
positive BOTH Democrats and Republicans are guilty of this. :(

That is how I feel about Kerry. It is in Gods hands. We just need to stand up and do our part and vote, and pray.

No matter who "wins", there will still be long struggle for environmental issues that the Bush admin. has taken away. I'm sure Steven would be concerned about that, no matter which candidate, if any, he favors. If Kerry wins, his admin. will have an uphill battle with the congress; if Bush wins, he'll have it made in the shade - what will be left of it when his henchmen finish cutting what is left of our national forests down.
If you love the national forests and parks, visit them soon because most of them will be either cut down or drilled out within a decade.
There are a couple issues we should all be concerned about: WATER and HEALTH CARE. These are basic human needs. We cannot live without water, and if the water we drink is polluted and we get sick we'll need good health care. These seem to be extremely important issues. Nuclear prolifiration is also a big concern. We cannot survive if we're surrounded with radiation poisoning. Terrorism is also a concern; however, terrorists have no "state" - they aren't in just one state or country or area - they are spread around the globe. "Freeing" one or more countries isn't going to solve that problem - it will take looking at the root causes of discontent that nurtures terrorist thinking. It is not "turning the other cheek" - it is having the guts to investigate and attempt to solve, on a global scale, with global cooperation between nations and states, those root causes. It may be the single most important issue of our futures.
Survival of the human race should be the issue most important, and that depends upon the condition of the environment, of cooperation, diplomacy, working together, basic human needs and human rights. The problems of concern today aren't issues that are kept within the US's borders - they are world concerns and should be addressed as such.
Let's hope and pray that whoever "wins" that they and the congress will wake up and act with intelligence, cooperation and wisdom. These qualities are what will save us. Anything less could spell disaster.

I think if an administration AND the congress AND senate would work together for once instead of fight and stone wall a lot could get done. I do not think any man running for president wants his country to go down the toilet. They have families too that need to live here also. EVERYONE gets affected.

Nah...It was about a month ago in usa.
So it's a bit old but I think that there will be more Seagal parodies.
