I voted for him for several reasons. He stands strong on moral issues. He stands strong for this country. I would hate to think that all the lost lives(American) by terrorist here on our own soil and abroad were in vein. I hate war. I do not like it at all. I also hate to see our people die needlessly because we turned our heads and kept letting them kill our people and we do nothing about it. Americans have been getting killed by terrorist here and abroad for so many years. Nothing has stopped them. Innocent people in Iraq have lost their lives to cruel people in their own government. Osama Binladen has been had been killing and moving and killing again and again. There must be a connection for a case against Saddam or the President would not have made a move. Do not rely on the media alone for information because you will not get the whole story. That is sad.
I think back to Adolf Hitler and when he came to power. So many people turned their heads and did nothing until they could do nothing. So many people died in that war because people did not take a stand when they saw trouble brewing. I believe that President Bush is taking a stand instead of turning his head until it is too late. Too many people are to blame for waiting too long to do something when September 11th took place. It breaks my heart that so many people died. I do not want Americans or anyone else to die because we all did nothing.
I think back to high school. Bullies loved to prey on the weak. The ones who would not stand up for themselves. So many times as a teen I did nothing and let bullies push me around that I have gotten to a point in my life I will be vocal before I sit and say nothing to defend myself. I waited until my senior year to take a stand. When I did and only then did the bullies leave me alone; because I was not a "easy pick off" anymore.
I think that is how I view America. Are we going to come across as weak people easy to push around or a country to reckon with when you kill one of their own? Since the twin towers were attacked in the early 1990's we have tried diplomacy. As you can see from the news, diplomacy means as little has human life means to terrorists. Very sad.
I do not expect everyone to agree or understand where I am coming from but this is how I feel.

I can see your problem. But the best way to avoid getting bullied is to stand up with your pals...and you know the rest...
Ok and I unterstood your point.

Sometimes that works

Unfortunately, when the going gets tough, some "pals" bail out.

Some friends will stick closer than a brother, and others will run when trouble comes-a-calling.

Yeah...maybe!

But when your "friends" bail out, it means that they don't have any guts.

Friend should never leave a friend alone in troubles with some "bad-asses".

Unluckily for the rest of the world, bush won the elections. But i hope that he learnt something from his previous mistakes and that he will change his way to see things. Anyway something his true, the usa mustn't stay divided. The elections are over, bush won but the people who voted for kerry must accept the defeat, as in a democracy. They must do everything for usa to go better and better. Unity is the solution. Kerry and Bush agree on that point.
Good luck to usa and to its people.

Half of this country DID vote for him. We all do need to mend our differences and work together to make this country a better place. We need to not bail out when the going gets tough. Be there for each other. If you can not "be there" when people need you, what good is that? A lot of times when you are there for a friend or someone else, they will tend to be there for you too when you need it the most.
