Yes, we do, and it is, you are right. Which is why I chose not to read the whole post, because I did find it offensive; and yet, I was so puzzled that it was not okay for me to say I found the contents of the post offensive.

Ah, well. The discussion, for me, is done now. We can get back to other business, I hope, without too much acrimony on any side.

How would you like me to create a seperate off-topic forum where nothing is moderated.

We could have this under a different usergroup so that people would have to apply to enter it and also be over 18 year of age!

Yeah Craig, I think that is a good idea and probably the only logical way not to offend the more sensitive members of the board.

I for one would be behind the suggestion over a over-18, non moderated forum.

Well I will go ahead & add my 2 cents...on StevenSeagal.com they started a members general board that was unmoderated...once the troublemakers started giving other members a bad time & posting whatever they pleased...everyone was screaming for it to be moderated as well.

Kind of a losing battle

I have to agree with you. Based on the experiences at the old site, I don't think that total unmoderation on a forum would be good. I can just see the chaos reigning down. I think the admins here have done a good job of moderating and listening to the users. It is nice to be able to come here and not find the hate that was spewing at the other board.

Might be an idea, that way people could vent if they wanted and it's for the over 18 group...You wouldn't have to read it if you didn't want to, that sounds fair to me....

I can see your point but this forum would be a seperate off topic forum for over 18's. So in other words people here would know what they are getting themselves into, and those who do not like swearing and crudity, etc could post in the normal, moderated off topic forum, and avoid the non-moderated one.
