I dont see why he would ever WANT to release a film in the cinemas with all of this DTV success. He knows that we still love him no matter how he releases them. Very good news for MFJ though!

another issue with releasing his films theatrical is that they would be savagely ripped apart by critics such as Ebert and Roeper, and that certainly doesn't mean well for a film. Look at what happened to Half Past Dead. Seagal seems to have found a new career in working primarily in non-theatrical films, so I don't think he's interested in jumping back onto the big screen anytime soon.

I don´t think so, every actor wants theatrical releases and high box-office ranks.That he is confortable in the DTV situation, possibly yes, he is making a lot of money but he sure missed the good times.
