What I want to know is: What is going on with "Yakuza"? Is he filming it now or is he filming "Unleashed"? Maybe he has started filming Unleashed and will come back to Yakuza. By the way; imdb dont have Unleashed or Ghenghis Khan listed as upcoming movies for Seagal but they do have US3 listed.

Oh and I forgot completely about "The Rescue"; which by the way is also not listed on imdb and which he is also filming right now according to the article from Moscow. Is he filming all of these movies at the same time(Yakuza, The Rescue and Unleashed)?. If you believe the various papers, well then he is...VERY CONFUSING!

Or maybe some of these names are just different names for the same movie..For example Yakuza/The Rescue. I hope they make the movie with the name Yakuza though and not The Rescue..

Hi Mike,wouldn't it be great to know 100% which movie was which instead of all these guessing games?I mean is it that much to ask?!I'm pretty confident to say that Unleashed & The Rescue are one & the same.Personally, I wish he was working on Yakuza right now.

I was a little confused because it was said a few weeks ago I think that he was filming Yakuza. Could it not be that The Rescue and Yakuza are one and the same-because in both it does mention something about his daugher being kidnapped or something to that effect. I just hope that Yakuza will keep that title and be released on the bigscreen.

I thought the daughter been kidnapped premise was for Belly Of The Beast?I could be wrong.I think The Rescue had the plot about Seagal trying to save a boy in war-torn Bosnia.I may be wrong about that as well LOL.So many films,so many premises & so many guessing games!I don't know about the premise for Yakuza(is it a proper remake of the original Yakuza?) as the script has been re-written by 3 French/Canadian screen writers.You are right when you say that Yakuza should be on the big screen.

All this guesswork is a bit of a pisser, I agree. It would be nice to have some authoritive information on exactly what is going on in terms of what Seagal movies are coming out and when and what the **** exactly they are about instead of this slurry of mixed up disinformation that reminds me of one of Comical Ali's speeches. All this confusing **** makes me want to do is drive a ******* tractor into the side of my house.

Well actually in The Yakuza, his friends daughter is kidnapped by the yakuza and he asks Seagal's character to help him get her back. I thought the Rescue had something to do with a story about this girl that he used to write in Vietnam and he loses contact with her and goes looking to see if he can find out what happened to her. I could be wrong too but it could also be very possible that some of these titles could be just another name for the same movie. I guess we will just have to wait and see when they are released. I really hope that they dont change too much of the Yakuza script that is listed on the Stax Report though. Andrew Davis would have been a great director for Yakuza and should have been urged to take this since US3 is out of the question and will never be made..I really would like to see Davis do another action movie together with Seagal..Davis has been quoted as saying that he is not interested in doing the new style comic book action films like XXX because they are just cartoons and he only wants to make realistic looking action films. Thats one of the reasons that he made Holes to change things up a bit..I have to agree with him on the action movies of today though-enough of the pg-13 action films already..
