...I found the quote: "Seagal does not take joy in Mr. Nasso's sorrow" interesting. Personally, I find it kind of saddening that Seagal and Nasso don't work together anymore and am rather annoyed that Nasso turned out to be such a dick. The Seagal/Nasso partnership were responsible for some of the very best movies Seagal has ever made and it is a pity he can't make movies like he used to anymore.

It's unfortunate, though, that Mr. Nasso is not equally magnanimous about Steven. Seems he's still pursuing the $60 million lawsuit. And the $500,000 that Nasso claims Steven owes him for a tax loan has suddenly burgeoned to $1 million, in some reports I've seen.

It's true that they did make good movies together. What Steven needs is someone to help him make the right decisions about what projects to work on, someone with whom to make good movies, that isn't connected up the wazoo with the mob.

Or, maybe that's why the movies worked? I shudder to think.

The thing is, he's still working with Philip Goldfine, who's been with him pretty much since the beginning, hasn't he? I suspect Steven does not have a strong enough "no" person working for him. More importantly, he needs someone who's got cachet with the major studios, like Ovitz used to do for him. But there isn't anyone.

No, Glimmer; I'm afraid our Steven is poison to the money men at the major studios. I don't think it would matter who he got to pimp for him, I think Steven's days working on a theatrical release through a major studio are over. I'll be very surprised if Steven ever makes another theatrical release again.

Perhaps all this noteriety with that little weasel has done more damage than we realize...
I have faith though, Steven just needs to find the right people to work with...
I am sure Warner Brothers still wants him back...
If Under Seige 3 gets going then who knows...
He will be just fine...:)

He needs to do more Cameos, and perhaps some Fight Directing in movies? After he's done with his current Rash of Movies.
Something Stable like being a fight director would help.
Donnie Yen does it.

I think Seagal will have a few more moves hit theaters. Lets face it, the USA in in to the whole rap-crap-wannabe-gansta thing and krupt is in at least 1 of Seagal's movies to come. I think rap will die like disco in a few more years then Seagal will be all stv.

It's funny I don't remember talking to you on the old website!yet your name is familiar,I mean your nickname!
My nickname is a very old story,I became friend with some friends of Chuck Norris who 'sports' the name 'Lonewolf',they called me Lonewolf and somehow it stayed!
You called me Lonestar I personally take no offense
because 'Lonestar' is similar with Texas and Chuck Norris, the man I admire most lives in Texas!
Not to mention the fact that in Texas there are often pictures of a Wolf Howling at the moon!
Peace!
