I passed my 1st KYU !!

Not only is Mar 8th my birthday but I also tested for my 1st Kyu and passed!!
It feels great to have that pressure over.The bad news is that next week I have to have arthoscopic surgery on my knee.That will put me out of Aikido for a month or two.

Congratulations on your 1st kyu! Sorry about the surgery taking you away from practice for a while. Still, it's better to get these things seen to before they deteriorate too far. And you can still practice in your mind!
