Casey,
I have been worried about you also, I was afraid that you were not doing too
well. You have to get better so that you can come to Houston and we can have
lunch together another time. My husband is not doing too well at this time,
so I do not have much time to post. That and the fact that my first grandchild is
due anytime in the next 2 1/2 weeks. I so hope my husband gets well enough
to care for himself so that I can visit the baby in the hospital and help them
at home. Since my daughter-in-laws parents live in Chicago. You take good
care of yourself, nothing can keep a good girl like you down.

My best to you and your entire family

You know my prayers are always with you.

Love you always,
Pat

Glad to hear you're home and feeling better! We missed you!

If you run out of cookies, I can always bring some. TD's speciality: peanut butter chocolate chip (and regular chocolate chip, as well!). I always put in extra chips, maybe that's why people like 'em!

I'm so glad to hear you're feeling some better, Mama san. :) We never hear a peep or word of complaint from you--self pity just isn't in your vocabulary. I admire and respect that about you. I wish you well, Casey.

And don't worry about the cartwheels--women half your age couldn't do them, either! :D

Thank you much, Precious Ones,
I truely am feeling better. I do hate it,
when I get so far from you all.
Pat, I would love nothing better than
to come back to Houston and go out
for dinner, and we will, just as soon as
I figure out how to travel with all these
oxygen bottles. Soon, very soon, I hope.
God bless,
Mama san

Hi, Pat. :) I'm sure Mama san wouldn't mind me cutting into her thread here for a moment. I just wanted to say I sincerely hope your husband's health improves quickly, and congratulations in advance on the birth of your grandchild. I hope all goes well with your daughter-in-law and the baby. It's so generous of you to disrupt your life to go and help them at this time, and also wonderful that you'll be there to share in this joyful occasion with them. :)

Wish you could post more in the forum, but understand how limited your time is. Good luck to you in this busy time ahead for you, best wishes for your husband, congratulations on your first grandchild, and hope to see you soon, Pat. :) And do let us know if it's a boy or a girl. :D

Well Wishes....

Mama San,
I am glad to hear you are doing a bit better. I miss seeing your smile waving. Show how much of a tough cookie you are and bounce back to good health in a jiffy.:)

.....Amos....I said she is a tough cookie....not time for cookies! ;) :D...(I could read your mind!!! :D)

Sererna,
My time is really taken up, my husband went into the hospital on Tues. he has pnemonia which is not good with MDS or (pre-Luekemia) and also on the infectious
disease floor because they still do not know what is causing the spots, taking
anti-virals and antibiotics should have the biopsy report today. Found out about
15 minutes on my way to work from the hospital that my daughter-in-law is having
the baby on Monday her parents do not get here until the 25th so I am going
to have to be at 3 places at one time, 2 hospitals about 40 miles apart and work
some where in the middle, for sure won't be here on Monday but will advise everyone
on Tues. Thanks for well wishes and prayers.

Oh, my, Pat. You certainly DO have an awful lot going on right now. I hope you can find something out on your husband soon. You must find time to take care of yourself, Pat. The role of a caretaker is like no other and is far more difficult than people realize, and physically and emotionally exhausting. Please do let us know about your husband and the birth of your grandchild whenever you're able to. Meanwhile, I'll keep you and your family my prayers. :) Good luck, Pat.

I've seen many patient smoking their cigarettes, carting around their oxygen bottles all over town.
So I'm sure YOU would have no difficulty at all. ;)
We could always strap one to Amos' back as he tries to keep up with you. :D

Continue to improve and take care of yourself, Mama san, and check on us when you can. :)

Casey - I am sorry to hear that you have not been well. I have only recently returned here after about a year. You are in my thoughts.

Pat - you have always held a special place with me. You showed me such kindness by sending me 'The Path Beyond Thought' and I have not forgotten it. I hope to one day repay your kindness. I hope your husband gets well soon and you are also in my thoughts.
