Well, Zen, I'm afraid the english version of the site isn't very complete, so I can't tell much either...It says we can listen to parts of two of the tracks, "Girl, and "My God" but I can only get "girl" which sounded awesome of course...Too bad the other one won't work...I guess it might be best to wait to order, but I just couldn't wait...I hope I can play it...I'll find a way...I don't know enough to write to them either or I would, perhaps we have a member who writes well in French that can? Good Luck, Zen, I know you admire him a lot, I feel the same way...:)

Ok guys, I've just emailed Steven's Online Store for info on his CD. If they won't tell me if or when it will be released here in the U.S., maybe they will at least give us some info on the format of the CD that 's coming out in France. If I hear anything, I'll be sure to post it to the message board.

Lotussan you are right to think that I admire him. I have the upmost admiration for Sensei Steven Seagal even if everyone in my "neck of the woods" don't. Even if half the members on this site give up and all his movies go to hell I still will think he is a great guy. I think that maybe one of the reasons that your feelings run deeper may be because you are female and I am male therefore I can't see him as you can in some ways. :)

I got express shipping which is very expensive, but the regular shipping is, too...
It didn't offer free shipping far as I know...I hope I didn't miss out on that...
I am pretty frugal most of the time, but when it comes to Steven, I just lose my mind...

Some thoughts of friends and family

I have played the album to anyone I could force to listen to it. So far, no one has said it was bad. My father, who has been a professional musician all his life, said that he thought it was better than most chart music he had heard recently, Seagal can sing and play well enough to carry it off, even if he is no maestro. Other friends I have played it to have also been surprised by how good it is.

I am worried that many people will ignore this album, because they don't have a high opinion of his films. This album should be judged on it's own merits and not on the the popularity (or lack of) of his films.

Many people can not ignore this album because people don't know this album. We found accidentally huh ?? Seagal doesn't make any promotion !!! No news, no promotion, nothing !!

Seems kind of ironic that he should move outside of the country to practice martial arts for a good portion of his life, come back and make some movies, and then basically disappear overseas again...

I think I'll wait and see if people get the CD they ordered from France and see what they say before ordering it though I guess that means I'll be paying a slightly higher price, huh?

Maybe he can have some autographing sessions in some big music store like tower records or somewhere, so people will have to buy a copy to get his autograph...

ZenLateralus, still waiting for them to reply. I'm hoping that they haven't been told to cut off all contact with us. Will just have to wait and see. I still keep wondering what we did that offended Seagal Sensei and his people, for us to be getting treated like this. Will let ya know if and when I hear anything.
