looking at coming soon.com today(as it updates in production films everyday)and the yakuza is not mentioned at all neither is unleashed which he is doing now accoding to reports.......my worry is that warner will not be distributing these films and they could go direct to video....anyone agree?

Well, only reports I know of about him filming "unleashed" are what I have heard here...But then what do I know? I do like to see him on the big screen though...If they do go straight to video I would be a little disapointed but I still adore and always will adore everything he does...:)

I think that Yakuza and Ghenghis Khan will go to the big screen. Yakuza has a 40 million dollar budget and is being done through Warner Bros so that sounds pretty good..I guess we will have to wait for Ghenghis Khan but it has been reported to have a 60 million dollar budget and those size budgets dont go straight to video.

I can't imagine that Khan would go to video, that would just be silly....It sounds like it's going to be a huge production, I am sooo excited about it...He is going to look so cool as Ghengis Khan...Anyone found a good realistic sketch of the guy on the internet yet? I guess I need to go find some books about him....

Do you honestly think that anyone other than the hardcore Seagal followers are going to be arsed that he is playing Genghis Khan? I don't, personally. All I can see is more critics lining up to take more shots at him.

Thanks very much, Amos...
Some of those were cool, and some weren't...I can see him in the role...:D

And yes Glimmer, I think people will like him in the role, and want to see the movie because he will look so cool in the makeup...
I hope the previews/trailer are/is good, because I know that draws me to a movie a whole lot...(Not counting SS movies of course, the draw is already there, lol)
Plus it's quite an interesting and very historical role that has not been done to death...Unfortunately, the critics will be the idiots they always are, I have no real doubts about that....
