New Year Resolutions?

Ok all, who's got any New Year's resolutions to begin?

I've got a couple: work up to the local Senior Olympics next summer for swimming and sprints ... and finish putting all the family photos in albums ... and planting a few more varieties of red hot peppers in the garden (in the spring, guys, in the spring!)

Catlady(furrball) looses any more weight & she will be a twiggy!

I think my New Years resolution is to get Catlady(furrball) to finish watching her videos! hee hee

Seriously-good post, I just don't have any New Year resolutions.

Personal discipline!! 27 years ago, I stumbled on a neat device that--if REGULARLY practiced twice a day--can make me the kind of person I've always wanted to be. It's called TRANSCENDENTAL MEDITATION, and, though you don't hear too much about it these days, was once touted by the likes of Clint Eastwood, George Harrison, many corporations around the globe, a Pentagon general even!!

But I don't have the dang discipline to do it twice a day, so I'm only half the person I want to be--only half alive. You may say--"how do you know it will really get you to where you want to be??????????? The answer--I've been there at different times during those 27 years...BUT I DON'T HAVE THE DISCIPLINE TO KEEP ON TRACK. Everyday life always seems to get in the way.

SO...That is my New Year's resolution!! :cool: :cool: ;) ;)

I'm not in the closet on resolutions, just always seems that they are forgotten a week later. (Especially the diet ones):D I try instead to do one positive thing each day for someone else. It just seems more possible to me! Hope you all have a wonderful New Year full of all that you wish for.

Baseball Lady...kind of like me,I don't know if I have ever made a New Year resolution because if there is something I want to change I ain't going to wait till the beginning of a new year to do it-at that time would be better!
I did hear a good resolution the other day..this guy was going to make the same resolution he has for the past 20 years....not to make a resolution!
