who of these Actors should join Seagal in a Action-movie? :

- Dolph Lundgren
- Jean Claude van Damme
- The Rock
- Silvester Stallone
- Jet Li
- Christian Bale

aka The Phoenix
The Rock and Silvester Stallone definatly not. :D Jet Li would be ok if Seagal just stuck with Akido and didn't try wirefu. Seagal in a movie with Christian Bale would never happen in my opinion. The two best action stars to place in a movie with Seagal would be Dolph Lundgren and Jean Claude van Damme. It would be really cool to see Seagal with Jean Claude Van Damme! :D

How about another name to the list, David Carradine, I'd love to see Seagal beat that fool up.

Jet Li for sure!

But they'd have to play on opposite sides otherwise it would be like watching an army walkind over a colony of ants... :D I don't think it is very likely that you'll ever see two big action stars play in the same movie.

Sidekicks

Sorry Tora James Belushi may be up for it but Jerry Lee isn't - he got shot and killed soon after K-9 was made.

I'd like to see:

JEAN-CLAUDE VAN DAMME (WE CAN BUT HOPE)
DOLPH LUNDGREN (IT'D BE A GREAT FIGHT)
RUTGER HAUER (SUPER COOL GUY)
CHARLES BRONSON (OKAY NEVER GONNA HAPPEN)
SYLVESTER STALLONE (THEY'RE OLD BUDDIES APPARENTLY)

alongside him.

I wouldn't like to see:

JET LI (WIRES WIRES, MORE WIRES)
THE ROCK (JUST NO)
ANY OF THE DWEEBS THESE DAYS SUCH AS KEANU REEVES, TOM CRUISE OR MATT DAMON WHO THINK THEY'RE ACTION HEROES BUT COULDN'T FIGHT THEIR WAY OUT OF A PAPER BAG

Any of the top five I think would be great either as side-kicks or villains opposite him. Seagal is apparently old buddies with Sly - Seagal himself nearly starred in The Specialist before Stallone took the role and they're similar in a lot of ways. Dolph Lundgren v Seagal would be great stuff and Rutger Hauer is one of the coolest guys ever.

I would like to see a remake of Lone Wolf McQuade with The Rock in the Chuck Norris role and Seagal in the villainous David Carradine role. That would be cool.

Ahhh! I don't think so!!
Weren't there 3 Jim & Jerry Lee movies made?
If I'm not mistaken Jerry Lee was still very much
alive at the end of the last one and is still kickin'
as far as I know.
God bless,

Jerry Lee

I don't mean to be the bringer of bad news guys but the Jerry Lee dog really was killed.

"Koton (Jerry Lee) was an actual Kansas City, Missouri, police dog. On 18 November 1991, he was shot and killed apprehending a suspect in the attempted murder of a police officer. Ten days before his death, Koton found ten kilos of cocaine worth more than 1.2 million dollars."

The dog in the sequels was a different one. Unless it was a ghost that is.

Well Steve aren't you the bearer of good news-NOT...geez you're right-just found an article:

Koton (Jerry Lee the Dog) worked for the Kansas City, Missouri police force. In November of 1991, he sniffed out ten kilos of cocaine worth over $1.25 million. Ten days later, he was killed, fallen in the line of duty pursuing the suspected murderer of a police officer.

K-9

I know but hey at least he achieved a level of stardom not enjoyed by most other dogs in the world. K-9 is one of my favourite comedy films ever by the way, I think James Belushi would be a great sidekick to Seagal, he was a good one for Arnie with Red Heat.

I could definitely see James Belushi with Steven Seagal. He's a real natural on camera, very relaxed and comfortable appearing with whomever he's with on screen. He does remind me of Tom Arnold, who I thought was great with Steven in Exit Wounds and with Arnold in True Lies--always underused as an actor, I thought. Now that Jim Belushi is doing so well in his succesful sit-com, though, I wonder if he'll appear in more films for a while.

No no no.Don't even compare Belushi to Tom Arnold.James Belushi is fantastic but Tom Arnold is just a clown.
But the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are simply undeniable.:D

Hahaha! :D Count me in on that! Thought you guys might be interested in an article I found back in October of last year from "Stuff Magazine".

I found this amusing little article. This is an excerpt from an interview with David Carradine. If you're interested in the rest of the article, I posted the link below. - Serena.

"Do you think you could beat up Steven Seagal?"
"Chances are, yeah. I’ve been doing kung fu for 30 years, so I have to have learned something. If that huge monster came at me, I’d have to do something extreme to get it over with quickly. I’d pull it off, because I’m in remarkable condition, considering I’m 66 years old. Of course, that has to do with this movie that I did with Quentin [Kill Bill], because I trained for eight hours a day, five days a week for three months. And Uma [Thurman] is something else. People are just going to be knocked flat by her. She kills about 100 people in this movie. I don’t even know if I’m supposed to tell you that."

Here's the link to the rest of that article, in case you're interested.
