Question Regarding Seagal And Michael Caine

I have read reports on different websites that Seagal and Michael Caine did not get on well whilst making "On Deadly Ground". Apparently another articles states that it says on a Caine website (Citizin Caine I think) that Seagal is an actor he would never work with again.

I've heard of other co-stars that he did not get on with but did not relize that Michael Caine was one of them. Does anyone else know of these rumours and what the bad blood is about?

Heard about it too, I really don't know what the so called bad blood was...You know all I can guess is that it (acting) is a very competitive business but I really have no idea...

i remember reading at the time of release that caine was upset because seagal was a poor director in his view and when he first said he wanted to make the film another director was attached to make it.also seagal was allowed to ab-lib some lines and caine was told he could not.....i think it was in one of the uk papers when it came out in 95.....if true then caine should not have made the film and let someone else do it.

Suzi, who cares about Caine? He's a great actor and has a history...I assume they just had many major differences and misunderstandings between each other...but I've never heard about...Well,maybe Caine wasn't comfortable at the thought about his ass being kicked by Seagal...that's it.

I'm not sure about Caine, but I heard that Henry Rollins (the rocker) said he'd rather eat latex paint than work with our dear Steven. I think that Henry Rollins was auditioning, and they had some disagreements.

 Maybe Steven is just too much of a man, and they feel like wimps around him...Maybe they feel threatened by him in some way...I am not implying that he is or ever was trying to intimidate them, but maybe the just feel kind of overshadowed by his powerful personality...Jealousy is a hard thing to admit, and if they are indeed jealous (this is just an opinion) then they would probably end up not wanting to be around or work with him much for fear that they won't come out looking as good as he does...I could be wrong....

True, maybe so, there is an awful lot of that crap surrounding him for sure...Just another spicy story, perhaps...

Intimidate Henry Rollins? Hahaha! Have you seen the size of the dude? He is actually a pretty well respected musician and spoken word performer who has starred in several high-profile movies. Here is part of an interview with Henry Rollins from FHM way back from 1999:

FHM - Apparently, you once called Steven Seagal a "fu*king jerk" because he kept you waiting for a long time. Did he ever get back to you on that?

Henry Rollins - I haven't spoken to him since, but the guy was a dick and he knows it. I'm not doubting his size or his prowess or anything like that - he's a big dude and he knows his sh*t. The guy would kill me. He'd dispatch me with one hand! On this occasion though, he was an asshole. I'm not the first person to say it. He's a hard guy to work with.
