This photo of Aikido Founder Morihei Ueshiba shot training with Morihiro Saito Sensei was taken c. 1957 by Andr ?ocquet of France. Saito Sensei often partnered with the Founder in weapons training and demonstrations.

This particular photo shows the finish position of iriminage, one of the most important techniques in aikido. It is very similar to the postwar Iwama method of performing iriminage. (1938)

There are people (students) missing though, such as Isoyama mentioned before on this forum. I think he started around 1948-1950 in Iwama.
