All i can say is thank god for air bags in cars !!! last night my bothers 19 year daughter was involved in an car accident she was just slipping down the fish and chip shop to get some late supper and as she was reversing out of the drive way and straightened up to pull away and car hit her from behind ...the airbag went off as her head hit the steering wheel she was very lucky she got whiplash and an broken wrist and the car not as nad as the one that hit her it just crumbled like an soda can the car that hit her was being driven by some hoons trying to get away from the police ..didnt get far but beleive it or not the driver tried to run and get away from the scene..scum bag!..
Of course my brother and his wife heard the crash and when he rang and told i was just standing there shaking like an leaf..because i thought the worse it it the worse my brother would have made sure that the person responisble would be hunted down like the dog he was...but he wont have to do that Alison will be out of hospital Monday they just wanted her to stay there over the weekend ..another grey hair i got ...this girl had an struggling few days when she came into this world..this is nothing she told her dad..

Your story touched a cord with me Heather.
My poor mother put her car into reverse and intended to brake as she backed a lttile way, but her foot wrongly pressed on her accelerator so hard she went backwards through the supermarket.Fortunately it was closing hour and very few people were in the supermarket. This was one and a half years ago and she gave up her licence.she has never driven since.
The car was a right off, so was the supermarket front glass doors, but luckily my mother got out of it without a scratch.
You just never know when an accident is waiting to happen.
My daughter had a head on collision on a bridge in Hong Kong 3 years ago and it was the air-bags that saved her life. so yes, thank God for air-bags.

I forgot to let some know here yes my neice was let out of hospital as from 9am monday morning god she was balck and blue poor girl..i so wanted to give her an hug but i couldnt she is off work for an few weeks of course and her boss is so good too ..so now she just has to wait now to see what the out come of these **** hitting her ..

The new bubs is going to have to wait i got caught in the rain the other day and have now an roaring sore throat and feel like iam on fire could just about cok an egg on me..so off Heather goes to the doc this morning iam lucky really all i have to do is make an quick phone call to him and iam in to see him not long after more bloody pills i already rattle when i walk ...plus my friend understands i normally recover from bugs quickly ..
