Deicide, Cannibal Corpse and Morbid Angel are a little too extreme for me. Cannibal Corpse song titles amuse me greatly though. The most extreme music I listen to and enjoy is probably early Sepultura, Slayer and Pantera's Far Beyond Driven.

i do know danzig: it used to be a punk band at the very beginning (i listened to that with an old punk friend), it was associated to the punk wave and often appeared on stage with the misfits. with time i think it's now more a metal band. the controversy still exists ;)
I do know inmates too (a little bit less) but i don't know christian death. :)

I must admit that i listen to a lot of kind of music pop slow rock, folk or country music, music form the 60',70'80' (duran duran, tears for fears). But i do listen to heavy metal, hard rock; death metal, power metal, black metal, what we call in French :electro indus or metal indus, i often go to hardcore concerts (hoi school, NY hardcore, metal core). And sometimes, i listen to some old punk music.
In fact i can't live without music.

I can't live without Music either!
maybe you'd like "Christian death"?
according to what you told me already I am sure you'd love this Band!
it's more of a "New-Wave" band than a rock Band!
In the eighties we used to call A particular type of Music "New-Wave"!
Maybe you're familiar with the name?
There were sub -categories,there was the cold wave and other substyles (sub is not derogatory here) whose names I don't remember!
The New-Wave Guys and Gals used to dress in Black!
and wear some particular boots called "witches"("sorcieres" in French)
I liked this time and style of Music!
it felt Good!!!

yes i liked that style too.
When i go to the dour festival, there's always that kind of music. It's always funny to see how people are dressed and the mae up they have (even for men). I have the feeling now we called that gothic. :)
but i do like that style too.

They chain themselves to the axles of big Mack Trucks,
The sky is filled with hurt and shivering angels,
The Fat lady lives !children start your trucks!!!!"

"Amid the depths of Darkness
amid the delusive fog
there waits apath to nowhere
forthright be stepped upon
Walking throught he heinous forest
the panic and rush of fright
she feels them coming nearer
Hereon will lead the rite

shadows overwhelm her soul
Exceeding anxiety
their shadow overtakes her thoughts
thick inobscurity

Organize to control
the power compels your soul
Organize to control
speak the incantation
follow the ordination
enter the organization

Convene outside the temple
hear the responsive roar
the prayers of deprivation
foretell what lies in store
Running from the grave believers
try to evade the chase
They se she's growing weary
And now it is too late

+Chorus"
Do you like this one Pantera????

Joan Crawford

Junkies down in Brooklyn are going crazy
They're laughing just like hungry dogs in the street
Policemen are hiding behind the skirts of little girls
Their eyes have turned the color of frozen meat

No, no no no, no no no no no no no no,
Joan Crawford has risen from the grave
Joan Crawford has risen from the grave

Catholic schoolgirls have thrown away their mascara
They chain themselves to the axles of big Mack trucks
The sky is filled with hurt and shivering angels
The fat lady lives! Children, start your trucks!

No, no no no, no no no no no no no no,
Joan Crawford has risen from the grave
Joan Crawford has risen from the grave

(Christina... Mother's home!
No, no...
Christina...
No, no - no, no...
Come to Mother...
No, no - no, no, no no no no no no
Christina...)

Joan Crawford has risen from the grave
Joan Crawford has risen from the grave
Joan Crawford has risen from the grave
Joan Crawford has risen from the grave
Joan Crawford has risen from the grave
Joan Crawford has risen from the grave
Joan Crawford has risen from the grave
Joan Crawford has risen

very dark and sad song. But in a way it expresses a reality a lot of people don't wanna see!

hello Pantera,
the First song was from"Death Angel" a US/Phillipino Band, quite good thrashers actually!they are no longer fashionable, too politically incorrect!LOL!
their music had some good energy though!
BOC is one of my fav Bands, they are classified as Dark metal but I think
they are more Heavy Metal or Hard Rock than something else!
Peace!

what about this. It's from a band i really like . ;)

Guided by my father's call
End of search, I hear them all
Now my quest is to live your dream
Land of the free passed on to me

I hail to thee on precious land
Brave & grand so strong she stands
Reaching from the mountains high
Down to the woods where the ravens fly

To asgaard we fly
The spirit will never die

I gaze across the open sea
Ships return but soon to leave
For all the men in battle slain
Let their spirits guide the way

Warrior of faith and pride
A spirit that can never die
With sword & shield I stand on guard
I'll fight til'death, we'll never part

To asgaard we fly
The spirit will never die

Guided by my father's call
End of search, I hear them all
Now my quest is to live your dream
Land of the free passed on to me

I hail to thee on fatherland
Brave & grand so strong she stands
Reaching from the mountains high
Down to the woods where the ravens fly

To asgaard we fly
The spirit will never die

Will I be alone this morning
Will I need my friends
Something jus to ease away the pain
And now I never see the loneliness
Behind my face
I am jus ta prisoner to my faith
If i could only stand and stare in the mirror woulkd I see
One fallen hero witha face like me
And if I scream, could anybody hear me?
If I smash the silence, you'll see what Fame has done to me
Kiss away the pain and leave me lonely
I'll never know if Love's a lie
Oh,being crazy in Paradise is easy
Can you see the prisoner in my eyes?

Chorus
Where is the love to shelter me?,Love set me free
twice!

Wasp The Idol

Will I need my friends?
Something just to ease away my pain
No one ever sees the loneliness behind my face
I am just a prisoner of my fame

If I could only stand
And stare in the mirror
What could I see?
One fallen hero with a face
Like me
And if I scream would anybody hear me
If I smash the silence, you'll see what fame
Has done to me

Kiss away the pain and leave me lonely
I'll never know if love's a lie, ooh
Being crazy in paradise is easy
Do you see the prisoners in my eyes?

Where is the love to shelter me?
Give me love, love set me free
Where is the love to shelter me?
Only love, love set me free
Set me free
