I saw my consultant today and he has admitted me in the morning for a vital throat op as i could be in great danger to wait. I should be in 2 weeks. If it works, i'll be able to breathe properly again. If not,well..

I have only just found this and the birthday thread. May i say you humble me with your brilliant messages. Kickingbird,it's good to see you about again. I remember the crap you had to take at the old place about your hubby and had to speak up for you. It's common decency. I hope he's feeling a bit better.One of the nurses was Polish and a great laugh. She said her husband called her dear. She said "Is it because of my grace and beauty?".
"No, it's because you have hairy legs like an animal"he said!
