Because Glimmerman I was speaking the truth & felt it about time LD heard it before he runs into someone that will really do harm to him..you know the quicker gun.

Yeah, dude, but if someone challenges him, maybe he is too proud to walk away, the way maybe you or I would. I don't like fighting and would only fight as a last resort. I would prefer to walk away from a fight rather than risk injury or injuring someone else.

Some people don't have that mindset though, particularly when they are young. I know lots of guys who were like that when they were younger. When I was training in kickboxing and felt that my skills were reaching something which could be described as fairly good, I felt the same way. It gives you a confidence the likes of which you can not understand unless you have trained to a reasonable level in a martial art. It's not right, necessarily, but you feel almost as though you want someone to challenge you, so you can see if these skills you learn in the dojo will work in the real world.

I would never go looking for a fight, and Littledragon seems like a pretty clued up guy and I'm sure he wouldn't too. I'm sure he knows he's not invincible, but at the same time, he's only a young man and is learning the ways of the world. Give the guy a bit of a break, that's all I'm asking.

Respectfully,

GMan

Do you make your own cornbread, Kat?

My aunt in Tennessee always made hers in that black "treated" skillet that they never cleaned, just wiped! What's up with that, anyway? :D

And always used bacon drippings she had kept on the stove for heaven knows how long.
With fresh cooked beans over it.

I never got into it, but my parents sure did. :indiffere
I like the fake stuff in the Jiffy box. :D

Now I'm craving fake corn muffins from the little Jiffy box! :D

Yes, I have cast iron pans, you have to season them with oil over and over until they are just right!!
The older the better!! It must be a southern thing!!!

I saw a show on Emeril, where he devoted a whole segment on how to "treat" it. My mother had me go online and print it out, but she never did do it.

I think it is a southern thing, actually. :)
I've never known anyone up here to do it. :D

Oh, yeh, cast iron great when seasoned and aged!! Better than all the new ones out!!
But of course most of the time I use cook essential's QVC's name brand, excellent pots and pans! They were an extra gift for me from my Mother, she starts every year around Oct. shipping things directly to my house as my Christmas, she doesn't want the other' to know I am her favorite!!

This weekend is the biggie on QVC, Christmas in July! Starts Sunday night and end at midnight Monday! Last year I spent a small fortune and then didn't decorate or particpant in any of the holidays! This year I am shooting for a better season!!

My sister-in-law has the Essentials line and swears by it too. :)
It pays to be mom's favorite, eh? ;) :D

Oh no, Christmas in July on QVC?
We'll get through this together, Lollipop. I'll take Sunday night off work and we'll post right through midnight Monday. :D
You probably don't even have room for all the stuff you bought last year and never put up. ;) :D
