I think from now on Serena we should start two threads each time Seagal has a new movie. One would be positive reviews, the other negative reviews, then I could live in my own world and read only positive things about Seagal, because that's what I like to hear. LOL. Just a thought! Serena I'll keep that in mind, I actually really liked Out for a kill, now the Foreigner is a different story, and I know you liked that one. So it's funny how everyone has such different opinion. But I'll stay away from your Out for a kill review, lol (Clement still with big smile on my face)Serena said:Big smile on your face.
Nah, no separate reviews. Just mix in a few good ones with the bad and I'll be happy. That's what optimists do. They can see both sides, but prefer the glass half-full.
btw--You must never have read my review of Out for a Kill. I must have used the word "terrible" about 30 times--in one paragraph.

Good attitude, don't let other people influence your opinion of a movie before you've seen it.yudansha said:Thanks Res.Dog for the review. I am looking forward to seeing OOR now! (LOL just kidding ... no matter what anybody says, it won't discourage me from seeing the movie once September comes around)
You shouldn't let anyone make decisions for you. I find that sometimes negative reviews will change my opinion of a movie. For example if someone mentions something specific that irratated them about a movie, I would probably find it irratating myself. But having not read about it, proabably wouldn't have noticied it myself. I'm going to do what Suzi did for OOR, I'm not reading any reviews of his upcoming movies before seeing them.yudansha said:Why should I have others make decisions for me?
For a Seagal movie I'd say moving fast is a good thing. I think the only thing OOR lacked was more fight scenes. I just watched it again with my parents and didn't really mind the voice overs anymore and I only had to watch it 5-6 times.littledragon869 said:I think Out Of Reach was an ok average movie. I liked the no wire fight scenes but I thought the movie just moved to fast and it lacked good actors as well as a good plot.
