I have a problem a day, my kitty is not eating, she is 8 years old! I think it has been about 3 days!
The supermarket has quit carry her moist tuna cat food that she gets twice a day! Then she has the dry food out all day to snack on! She will not eat any other moist I have tried several kinds and now she has quit eating the dry and she keeps running to her food place like "Woman come feed me" ! Do you think she is just being stubborn and will come around?

Cats can really be stubborn when they're mad. But they also don't eat when they have bad cold (for example) and can't smell what they have in their plate. So let the food and if she's really hungry, she'll eat. If she's got problem with her "nose", you musr first take care of her problem...... But if she's like my mother's cat, she'll let herself starving 'til she gets food (or until you come and eat with her).Lollipop said:

One of the nurses was talking about this same problem last week about her cat not eating because she couldn't find the old cat food any more. Another nurse suggested she mix just a tiny, tiny bit of real tuna in with the new cat food, just a few flecks, or dribble just a bit of the juice over it. She tried it and came in this week and said her cat was eating the new cat food, and she would gradually put less and less real tuna and juice in it so her cat wouldn't notice it eventually.
Hope she's back to her old self soon!

We have nice fresh snow now and even when it's cold Cody and Sammy the cat love to roll in it. I don't know why they get so much pleasure rolling init but they first bury there heads and roll it aound. Then they roll their whole bodies around for about 10 minutes. It looks crazy. Sammy struts away afterwards as if he's very pleased with him self.

I used to go outside with my mother's dog when it was snowing for the 1st time of the winter. The dog was completely crazy, jumping everywhere in the snow. I was throwing her small snow balls.
I miss those good time with all the pets we still have at my parents'.

My mother said that would throw off her taste and smell! But she has started back eating as of Saturday night here! So maybe we are good to go now!

All of my neighbors have dogs and we it snows they let them out, it is neat, everyone in the whole neighborhood is standing on there front porches watching them! It is fun to watch them run and play and try to catch the snow in there mouth's!
