1) Cotton-Top Tamarin monkeys, from left: Rio, Baby and Pinkie are pictured back home at Drayton Manor Theme Park and Zoo in Tamworth, England, Thursday Feb. 3, 2005, after being stolen in an overninght raid earlier in the week. The trio was recovered during police raids on 2 locations in the Erdington district of Birmingham, England, and are being assessed by keepers.

2) Caretaker Tamas Kardos holds three lion cubs of the Debrecen Zoo in Debrecen, Hungary, 140 miles east of Budapest, Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2005. The male cubs of 8-year old Elza and 5-year old Kovu were born seven weeks ago, and officials of the zoo have not yet decided about their future.

3) Zoo keepers lead the elephants for a walk through the snow in their enclosure at the Schoenbrunn zoo in Vienna, on Thrusday, Jan. 27, 2005. Animal-welfare activists have renewed the argument that elephants do not belong in cold-weather zoos following the deaths of two pachyderms at the Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago.

great pics serena. I love the felines (of course) but i also love the polar bears. It's nice to see some babies. Especially when you know that in the future they won't survive in their natural environment :(

Two 7 weeks old polar bear cubs look out from the hands of their keepers Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2005, at the zoo of Rostock, northern Germany. For a short time the babies were seperated from their mother to be weighed.

When I saw the first two pics, I thought of a few of you ladies--Heather, Lollipop, and Kathy, I think--when your cat is on your lap or keyboard as you're in chat. :D

Thank you very much for those beautiful photos, Serena :D. I much like to watch the cat's photos because I'm a cat's mad lol. I made a website for my cat, but it's only in French. I don't know why, but since 2 years, it's quite impossible to update it, because there's a problem somewhere :(. Oh well, if you want to see the photos, here is the link :

I like this kind of kitty too.
I had one for a couples of month but he died after having fall from the 5th floor from our appartement. He was a kitty (james), i've been very sad, i was just 8 years. :(

Oh... I'm sorry for your kitty Pantera :(. That's still sad to loose a so young companion, isn't ?
