So, will they finally start filming in a few days?
Currently, according to his Facebook, Donnie Yen is in Thailand for 10 filming days of his movie "Chasing the Dragon".
I wish he would meet Seagal there. In the late 90s they already talked about a film project, according to an old Donnie Yen interview.
But of course, it's highly unlikely that they will meet.
I hope they will ask Tony Jaa for one of the upcoming projects.
He used to write for Impact magazine and he has done a load of commentaries for Hong Kong movies that were released in the UK too. Hopefully he can help make this movie a success.

Well they don't need a script. It's funny that Bey Logan says they are in early pre-production and that Seagal siad in an interview (a few days ago) that he will start shooting Attrition in about 10 days....
Well they don't need a script.
- Plot is written, Steven Seagal is retired FBI/CIA/Delta Force agent.
- Bad guy is a Romanian/Bulgarian/Russian gangster.
- Seagal helps young woman. Scene in strip club / bar where they meet.
- Lots of gun shots, cars blowing up. No helicopters although always on the cover.
- Stunt double films majority of movie. Walking up stairs slowly so they can get the movie to last over an hour.. Kills the main bad guy with head-shot or neck snap-age.
- Then Seagal turns up with goatee / bandanna / leather jacket, mumbles a few lines and we get some close up head-shots so we can see it is him appearing sometimes. Then goes home with nice pay check.
- We look for a trailer the day filming ends.
- Movie is released, we moan about it for a while.
- Repeat
