I just got a note from Amazon.com, they have shipped by Belly of the Beast.
Better get here for my New year' eve dream celebration, a glass of fine champange
and looking at the Georgeous Steven Seagal, only one thing more a woman could
want and that would Steven actually sharing the champagne, or any thing else he
would like to share. "HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE", I just got back to work and
am swamped but had to see what my freinds were saying about wonderful Steven.
Phone gones crazy will write more when I can.

Got my copy today
Hi. I jsut got my copy of Belly of The Beast today from Walmart. I couldnt wait to see it so I watched it at work.. I think this is a great movie and goes to show that he still has what it takes to make a GREAT action/martial arts movie. I know there were alot of stunt doubles in it. but this movie is great. Im going to watch it again tonight when i get home. Keep Them Coming Steven...........

Just went and picked up my copy this afternoon, had a hard time finding it. Most of the stores that had advertised they would have it today, hadn't gotten it in yet. Haven't had a chance to watch it yet, but will this evening. Question for ya'll, what is "anamorphic widescreen"? This is what is on the back cover of the one I bought. Clerk said that this is what was sent to them, so all the DVDs are this way. Thanks.

ok, I have watched, and this movie is AWESOME! This film is extraordinarly cool!
People, I guarantee that you will not be dissapointed! Steven is in great form, and his screen presence is super duper, strong...
He is magnetic, charming and the character he plays is a fabulous guy, my oh my, much like the real deal I presume! I was totally engrossed in this film, it reminded me a lot of under siege 2, somehow...
With the cockiness of Jack Cole mixed on in there, and the tender side of our beloved Jack Taggert right alongside there too...
It was exciting and packed with action and it was asthetically very pleasing, the scenery was beautiful, the Buddhist aspects were really so inspiring, and there is definately an exciting good vs. evil thing going on...
That part reminded me a lot of MFD...
Also, there is actually a beast!
And Steven is so powerful in this, ahhhhh...
He is simply remarkable in this film...
He is the master baby, sooooo totally cool!
All the acting was great (especially Steven's of course!)
He seemed very into the role, and was extremely witty and worldly!
Just charming, much like the character of Jonathan Cold...
Oh, and I was sooooooo charmed...
His fighting was magnificent! Very impressive, and yes, the ruthlessness of is back, which will please even the most hardcore fans...
I am amazed at this man, he is so multi-talented, and facinating, and OMG, he is gorgeous!
Those eyes, so peircing, and those hands, OMG! Powerful!
And don't even mention those magnificent legs, who incidently kick some serious butt in this film!
Oh, and then there is his awesome shooting...
Let me tell you, I have fallen for him all over again, this character Jake is some kind of man, and if he is anything like our beloved sensei, I am even more impressed...
The ponytail is back! And I loved seeing that...
Oh and those sideburns are so delicious, I just want to nibble on him...
Oh, and girls the love scene was fabulous, he is so sweet in it, god how
I long for some of that lovin'...
I can really identify with that poor girl, she feels he is her big, strong protector and is obviously so taken with him...
I understand how she feels...Sigh...
Everyone will love this film, if it is promoted, I think it is going to be a total hit...

My Belly Of the Beast review
Well we rented the VHS version & just bought the DVD version at Walmart-but haven't seen the DVD yet.
Anyways, the action was great! I guess I'm so use to not having much fighting in it that the amount of it was a little much though. Would have liked to see a few more minutes of movie go by between fights
There was atleast two parts where I don't know what was the reason for not using Seagals actual voice,but someone elses?
The clips of when it was obvious that it was not Seagal doing his own stunts,was done well so it wasn't as obvious as some of his other movies.
Of the recent movies of Seagals though,I still prefered Half Past Dead more than Belly Of the Beast.
As the movie said,only brief nudity which was different to say the least for his movies
