Well finally Under Siege 3 will take place! After Mr. Andrew Davis (The Fugitive, Under Siege) finishes is current film, Under Siege 3 will begin! After 4 long years of negotiating about the movie it has finally been announced! But I cannot tell you when filming will start because of Davis's and Seagal's schedule....

Below is an article written following the announcement of Under Siege 3...

SEAGAL UNDER SIEGE: Steven Seagal proves once again that you can never be too old to kick ass. The 50-year-old martial-arts expert has signed on to reprise his role for the third time in New Regency's money making "Under Siege" franchise. Possible co-financiers for the film include 20th Century Fox and Warner Bros., which co-funded the first two installments.

The "Under Siege" concept first materialized in 1992, where Seagal played an unassuming cook who happened to prevent terrorist attack on board a U.S. battleship. The sequel, which came three years later in 1995, once again finds Seagal fighting no-good terrorists but this time on a transcontinental train.

HERE IS THE FILM INFO AND BIO, POSTED BY WARNER BROS.

CAST: Steven Seagal , Damian Chapa , Troy Evans , David McKnight , Lee Hinton , Patrick O'Neal

DIRECTOR: Andrew Davis

PRODUCER(S): J.F. Lawton , Gary W Goldstein , Steven Reuther , Arnon Milchan , Steven Seagal , Jack B Bernstein

PRODUCTION CREDITS: Bill Kenney , Robert A Ferretti , Dennis Virkler

SCREENPLAY WRITTER: J.F. Lawton

LOCATION(S): Mobile, Alabama

DISTRIBUTOR: Warner Home Video, Warner Bros. Distribution

As always, I'll keep you updated...LETS JUST PRAY THIS FILM IS NOT SCRATCHED!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks, Seagalfan, but I'm not sure how old this article is. Here it says Steven is 50 years old, but actually he'll be 54 in April--or 53, depending on which date you believe. :D I'd love to see Under Siege 3, but we've seen this rumor too many times and I just don't think it will happen.

As always, you're welcome. In the article it does say 50 years of age, but I don't think journalists would go into detail saying, "The 54 year-old actor, as of April of 20__"

This article was posted on a highly respected website which seems to be a reliable source 95% of the time...But we'll have to see

But then again, I doubt a crew and cast list would be posted if the movie wasn't going to be made...but who knows

We can always hope, eh?! And I really would like to see an Under Siege 3. :)

Thanks for posting, though. It's important to post whatever we come across--then wait and see what happens later. :D

This sounds like old news but oh well, we will see what happens, lets see what other tricks Seagal has up his sleeve, if he has any left. ;)

I don't mean to be skeptical but I am, LOL! :p:D
I can tell you this for sure, most good journalist wouldn't estimate or guess a celebrities age, and stating Seagal's actual age wouldn't involve going into his date of birth, also there are numerous ways to look that information up.
And I have a question, what is this website exactly that this information was posted on?

I'd like to see it for myself, so many rumours to sort though. :D

I've seen this article before - it came out about the same time as Exit Wounds was released, it's old news.

Andrew Davis has stated categorically that he will not be involved in any Under Seige 3 project with Steven. I suppose if enough money were offered... but the fact is, Steven is presently shopping Under Seige 3 around himself. Warner isn't involved, at least not at this stage.

Well, he won't. He's old; he's fat; he no longer has that almost angry intensity he had when he made the original Under Seige (he didn't have it in the second one - I guess that was when he was starting down the path of peace beads and enlightenment).

As with many here, I will believe Under Seige 3 will happen when it's on the big screen. And that is as likely to happen as me turning into a supermodel within the next six months.

He's not old and he's not fat. Charles Bronson made action and thrillers until he was almost 80. And anyone who's seen Into the Sun will know he still has his "almost angry intensity" in spades.

No, TDwoj, this is recent stuff...

No, seagalfan, it's not recent stuff. It really is an old article, from the time just around when Exit Wounds was released.

I did ask, and I'll ask again, where did you find this article? Clearly someone somewhere is posting old material as if it were new.

The difference between Charles Bronson and Steven is that Charles Bronson was in reasonably good health and good shape until Alzheimer's took him over (the last few films he did -filmed here in Toronto, by the way - he had that glassy-eyed expression that is typical of Alzheimer's sufferers, but kudos to him to keep working as long as he could).

As for him being old and fat - well, he is, and that's a fact. The trick camera shots mentioned by some of Into the Sun's reviewers are a dead giveaway - it means he's still not in good shape and the director is colluding with him to conceal that fact. And frankly, while I know the lads here are going "rah rah" when he gropes the barely past puberty Japanese girl, for me, it's makes me queasy to see a grandpa doing the nasty with a girl young enough to be his granddaughter.

Into the Sun has so far received, at best, lukewarm reviews. I'll wait until I see it, but I'm not holding my breath that it'll be any better than the previous dvd outings.

As for Under Seige 3? Not bloody likely, not unless he does some serious training.

By the way, being old and fat isn't necessarily an impediment to him doing action movies. Just some action movies.

And he should leave the young girls to the young lads. :p

No, once again, it's a recent write...You are mistaken with the article you read a while back...Unless you remember the article word for word, I'm telling you that this is a new article...whether new or old information is given or repeated, this article is a new one.

My sources aren't web sites...I check up on IMDB for changes and movie facts but information like above comes from people I know and am in contact with regularly.

I'm just posting what I hear, know, see, find, read...you get the point. But if you like me posting or what I post, don't read it. I hate to argue with people because it's not my thing...If I'm wrong about what I post fine, I'm wrong

Even if it does get made, id bet that its gonna be a really shoddy looking picture, I think it will be retarded having a Navy SEAL(seagal)who has more medals on his shirt than everyone in the movie combined but looks like he won those medals at an all you can eat buffet for the last 5 years..Its sad really sad cause he was the coolest, but I think I pretty much lost all hope in him. Atleast I still got the good Seagal movies.

I dont think his movies are "shoddy" ....and i dont like that word "retarded" in any shape or form thanks...i think that true fans would never give up on him and iam one of them....I really hope this one goes ahead just to prove you wrong....

You dont think those DTV's were just a bit shoddy? In some his stunt man did more fight sequences than him and a FEW times he didn't show up for the voice overs so someone else had to say Seagals lines, come on now be real. What is the prime audience those DTV's gonna go, whos gonna put there money into them, mostly Action film aficionandos and specifically Mr. Seagals fans and to produce products where he can't even bother to show up for voice overs? To me that just shows an almost I don't care like attitude. Don't say that just because I disagree with alot of what he does these days that im not a true fan because theres a difference between not being a good fan and being a person who will has felt cheated again and again by either camera tricks, his poor health, or the stuff mentioned above, will I check out his next movie yeah(a true fan would) I will because I KNOW he CAN make a good movie, but WILL he, thats the question.
