LOL @ Yudansha.

Actually, a car like this should only be in red. ;)
Yes, please. One red one.
Well, and maybe the blue one for weekends. :D

Hey, Yudansha. What are your thoughts on the PT Cruiser convertible? I've heard it said you ever love it or hate it. No in between. :D And I love it!

Here's a suggestion and you better listen if you don't want to suffer in the long run

PT Cruiser is love it/hate it only to those who judge cars solely on exterior appearences ... certainly if you've seen what it's like on the inside, you won't fall in love with it as it looks like a modern version of a Bronco with less class than any Korean entry.

Mechanically speaking ... not good. You are better off with the New Beetle ... and that Mini is unbeatable (literally and in any other way) ... the Mini is unlike anything else in its class and is not even challenged.

The Cruiser is only for those who have money to burn, live in Cali and have a new car every year or sooner ...

Actually, I never have seen the inside of one. :D And I do love the outside. The regular PT Cruiser reminds of the black cabs I took around London.

"The Cruiser is only for those who have money to burn, live in Cali and have a new car every year or sooner ..."
No to all of the above! Guess that leaves me out. :D

I really do like the Beetle convertible, though, so.......ok. I'm sold. ;)

Thanks, Yudansha. :)

Sold? ... GREAT! How about one more? ... and I'd like that commission :=))

... women and their convertibles :D ...

PT Cruiser interior ... don't forget that these Cruisers in particular are top of the line Chryslers ... and for $30k USD that's not much ... not much at all.

I saw some little cooper cars in Boston. Those are tuna fish can size cars. I used to like Cadillacs. They are ugly now.

First car was a 1965 VW beetle ... painted with flowers and such ... also used to drive a 3-cylinder Geo ... now have a tank Lincoln town car ... which is all I can afford to buy at the moment ... when I win the lottery I'll buy a VERY fuel efficient car, preferably electric/gas combo but not hydrogin-based = much too dangerous! The electric/gas combo's sound nice unless the gov/oil moguls do away with 'em. Unfortunately, this town is spread out all over the place and that means a lot of driving to get anywhere especially the natural food grocery which is located 22 miles away. It takes the same amount of time to drive there than it does to shop the local health food store which doesn't have near the wonderful selection of organic produce, etc. If oil/gas were not an issue, I'd prefer something like a Volvo or Mercedes if they still make them, but would probably settle for a Saturn.

They showed Columbo in Estonia?

Hydrogen cars dangerous? ... lol you are kidding! ... they are made specifically to satisfy a 5 star safety procedure ... the only ones in existance however are those marked 'concept' and available for to the manufacturers' teams only.

(cadillac.com) ... (msn)
Today's Cadillacs ugly? ... I wouldn't say that (although I prefer Japanese to American ... cars that is ... Nissan). ... Cadillacs are now going into producing their new generation automobiles (as they already started with their midsize sporty sedan the CTS ... as was showcased in Matrix Reloaded ... the highway chase scene).

2005 Cadillac STS ... $40k-$47k USD

2004 Cadillac SRX (I prefer Infinity FX45 instead of this Caddy though) ... $38k-$47k USD
c443226a.jpg
c443228a.jpg

2004 Cadillac XLR (I'm not a big fan of this, but I would not exactly call this 'ugly') ... $75k USD ... a bit too steep (as is the sticker for Lexus SC430)

My first car (rated at a 5 out of 5 stars reliability by MotorTrend and Car&Driver) ... excellent ride (I prefer this to Camry ... but Nissan Altima is much better):

By the way, that convertible car posted earlier (the red one) ... that's the new Ferrari 360 Modena Spyder :D

Yudansha, Sorry I said the Cadillac was ugly. I am used to the ones that look similar to my grandfathers. My grandfather had a 1971 Cadillac De Ville. (Convertable, navy blue.) He passed it on to my mother who passed it on to my brother who now needs to restore it. He has too many cars in his collection. He even has his first car a 1965 Chevy Chavelle. ( I think that is how you spell it. ) The car I learned to drive on is a 1968 candy apple red, black vynal top Plymouth Fury. A real treat to do three point turns with. NOT!
