I know it's not original but an ongoing q. is what are you watching? Just state what movie you just saw and how you rate it. If it's Seagal fine, but any. I just saw Star Trek: Nemesis and thought it was one of the best of the series. Picard was bald even then! I have seen him as he's a local man and a good guy.

Well, most recently I watched Day After Tomorrow. I was in the mood for a good disaster movie, and aside from the silly science, it was quite good.

Just finished The Last Castle with Robert Redford and James Gandolfini. It's from 2001 and I saw it when it first came out, but just saw it again. I thought it was a very good movie, myself.

Robert Redford is a legendary three-star general who is court-martialed after a military incident where some of his men are killed. He's stripped of his rank and sent to a military prison, run by Gandolfini. Of course, the prison is a hell hole, and Redford soon becomes admired and respected by the other prisoners for his efforts to improve conditions and make the situation known to those on the outisde. Which infuriates Gandolfini, who tries to demean and crush Redford.

Definitely worth a look, especially if you're a fan of Redford. I thought this was one of his best roles in years.

Have just finished "ALF - season 1". It's still kind of funny, I don't care so much for the family anymore. They are a bit boring, but the old Alfer, he's great.

Hoping to have time this weekend to watch a movie or two...

-TD, working like a beaver a week before Christmas (I mention this fact because in the past few years, I've barely had any work at all in December, and this means I might actually be able to buy myself a Christmas present)

I used to like the "old Alfer" myself. :D But have you seen his new show? Where he's a talk show host. It's pretty bad, but to be honest, I only watched it for about ten minutes. Maybe I'll try again sometime--when I'm really bored and can't sleep, since it's on at about midnight here. :D

Great about the work! Now maybe you could buy yourself a Christmas tree--well, maybe the Charlie Brown kind, anyway--rent a movie, and save the rest. :D
