My opinion changes quite often. I wont go into my religious beliefs, because I am still searching for spirituality, but I will say, that I would not rule anything out.

Life after Death? Of course! Sufi's call it "wedding day" - when one returns to God. Also, Sufi's strive "To Die Before Death" - to discard the worldly attachments and illusion of separation (from God) before death comes to claim the body. Life after Death? That's like asking if there is Life Before Birth lol 
the Light of the Soul comes from God and returns to God. We are reflections of His Love. When God realized Himself, the Souls were created as rays of Light - and we have been given the wisdom to realize our true nature (as eminating from that Light) and to merge back within That. We have the freedom of choice to chose between living in the Light or perishing in darkness and separation. That choice would best be made before death takes the body. Death is the door to unbelievable Love, Compassion, and Light. The secret is to walk through that Door before the Angel of Death comes to claim the elements of the body and mind; for they cannot enter that Door - they are from the earth and must return to the earth. The Soul which develops wisdom and looks to the Light is That which can walk through that Door AS Love, Compassion, and Light Itself. When the "I" no longer exists, only that Light exists ... "whatever we love, we are".
