Well there are a few discrepencies in this description.....I just received a copy of this in the mail today...the person ran off a VHS copy for me from his DVD.....
Yes...it is from Japan; has occasional Japanese narration introducing the film they are showing but everything else is in English......it was released in 1998 by a company named "Origin"...covers all the way up to FDB....from ATL-ODG it runs in order...but then jumps to TGM then comes back to ED & US2.....it's a 30 mt....hyper speed look at Seagal movies.....mostly action sequences.....a couple of rare(to me) behind scenes shots....Seagal choreographing the "garage fight" in TGM.....a brief behind scenes shot from US....some dialouge from Kurt Russel( talking about working with Seagal)and behind scenes from ED.....some Seagal interview cuts...apparently from '92(he mentions working on US) clips from maybe '94 interview(he's wearing the medicine jacket) and clips from an interview(looks like it was taken from "Making of The Glimmer Man) '95??......so much gets thrown at you in the 30mts...that I didn't even catch the behind scene of US the first time around.....it's interesting of course......
Apparently "Dreams" is a DVD volume series or set.....this one is Vol 7 was Steven Seagal/Briget Fonda; menu lets you choose which person you'd like to watch..."Action Heroes"(which also shows Mel Gibson,Van Damme, Seagal,etc as in intro before the actual Seagal video starts.....some of the actions sequences put together into a montage from various movies has a nice rock soundtrack...but is far too short....the earliest movie I saw any kind of behind scenes was US......with TGM having the most..few from FDB...the US2 sequence was nice......becasue it was a split screen thing...where you saw the action sequences along with Seagal talking about the movie on the left side(had a cut on his cheek as in that pic we see all over the place)..Wayans also had a few words to share on the set of TGM..along with Seagal....
it's one of those deals....that if you turn your head for a sec...you may miss a rare scene....anyway..that's what this thing is about....lol
I don't think the person that wrote the abocve description was a Sea-ga-lite....otherwise he wouldn't have stated that US2 was the most recent of his films....Oh.....uh....no scenes whatsoever from MFD...tho Fox is mentioned in the credits..
John
by the way.....anybody catch the Seagal/Wolf sequence on ET last night(5/26)....ET was doing a show on....celebrities and who and how they hooked up with....some hooked up with friends nanny's........or secrataries,etc...must have been early on with Seagal and Wolfe becasue there was a scene where a news person asked him"who is she?"...and he introduced her(nope she never talked..lol..come to think of it I don't even know if she can speak..never seen her utter a word...lol))

Disciple

come get some
Yes John, I saw the Nanny programme on E channel. I liked the way Seagal introduced her:

Reporter: "and who is this?"

Seagal: "this is Arissa Wolf. We met for the first time today." [big smile]

Also John if possible, please can you tell me exactly what Kurt Russell and Damon Wayans said about working with Seagal, I would love to know their opinions (especially Kurt Russell, I am a big fan of his). Or better yet is there any way of getting the "Dreams" DVD segment online? Thanks for any help...

<cynicism mode on>

I doubt it was her facility for brilliant conversation that was the attraction...

<cynicism mode off>

There's one photo - the photo in which I photoshopped Ms Wolf out of existence - where she's doing something completely goofy while hanging off his arm like a remora. As usual, he's just got his stony face on, so you have *no* idea what he's really thinking.

I'm going to stop now before I get into any more trouble....

Yeah.....I like some of Russel's work also.......I have a few of his films....that was John Carpenter's idea to break K Russel out of the Disney kid mold that Russell had himself in.....I was impressed with Escape from New York(even got the VHS special edition with the missing scenes)....I think Russel has done extremely well in the various acting areas he's undertaken...from comedy to drama.
and yes...I'll be getting around to converting the "Dreams" segment to some form of video....just don't know where to upload it too at the moment....just recently I used 2 yahoo "groups" just to upload 40mbs of Seagal soundtrack.music to listen to or download....probably will have to do the same with this "Dreams" thing.....and I have no idea why they titled it "Dreams" either..lol

Yeah.....I've noticed over the years that many times when people would sent me pics to post on my site ....that Wolfe would be 'mysteriously" missing from the image...usually came from female contributors...lol
Even had some articles sent that had ...some senders notations about Wolfe added by her picture....lol....lol
Ah...nothing like editorial priviledge..
John

What does "hanging off his arm like a remora" mean???

You know those little fish that attach themselves to sharks and whales? (Or I could have said limpet...)

Ahem.

Oh, I was just being a tad b****y; it's just that every picture of them together, she's hanging on to his arm so tightly, it looks like she's afraid that if she doesn't, he's going to escape her grip, or, considering how *she* got hold of him, perhaps some other shark is going to come along and sweep him away when she's not looking....

;) like me, maybe...

ha! hahahahaha! (as if)
