For the cynics among us

I found TD's post to bring many emotions out of me .It is always humbling to hear what our children are thinking and you know what they can be downright cute and FUNNY sometimes . I believe that that is where the reference to the TV show came in.

That of course is my OPINION

Yes thank you all for understanding my reasoning. And yes, I didn't realise that it was in the spirituality section, as I have mentioned earlier. The thread was new when I made my first comment, so it was on the 'index' page (the first 'home page') where it doesn't mention the location of the thread.

TD I certainly did not mean any offense towards you as others might have recognized the same thing. Remember when you were posting opposite me on the topic of optimism etc... You yourself were saying that you tend to look at things in a positive manner to keep your spirits up (ironic how this is also in the spirituality section), so it took me by surprise when you attacked me while I tried looking at it from a lighter view (perhaps also to cheer you up if such topic has upset you).

I should point out that I don't attack anybody, ever. I have gone back over my one response and have revised it slightly since I do not, as a rule, reply specifically to individuals when I disagree with them (and yet, here I am doing it again).

I am breaking my own rules of engagement, and I would rather not do so again, so here it is: if you are apologising for misunderstanding my intent for this post, I accept.

At this point, I would prefer to let the matter drop. The discussion I hoped to start about the nature of love is not going to happen now, and it's time we moved on to something else.

Maybe, you should think about why it is that you feel the need to "engage" so often .It could be that it is part of the way you are as opposed to someone else creating it .Just something to think about .
