Hey Fox,better watch out when purplelotus tells you off! That's what threads are. Say i put one in and no-one answers. Do you think "**** them" or think "maybe no-one's interested".You just get on with it and go to another.Do the same young man.
Lotussan,i'm ok thanks. I thought the Foreigner was ok,just different to his usual stuff.

Dear Storm,

I don't think it's big headed for him to be aware of his sexual attractiveness...
To me that is simply confidence, and women
(at least this woman ;) )
appreciates that in a man very, very, much...
Others can call it cocky if they like, but to me it's dignity and honesty, and I really admire that a lot...
If he's handsome and he knows it, what's wrong with that? We should all love and know ourselves, because in loving and knowing ourselves we can love others so much the better...A wise man once said to know yourself is true wisdom, or something to that effect...
Oh, I like just the way he expresses these things, it's a very big part of what makes him such a draw...Just my opinion though...No offense...:)

And Heather,

We know he's got it all, looks, brains, talent, charm...And we love him for it, don't we? Yes we surely do...:) Confident and knowing it, what a turn on, oh Steven...;)

Support his work?

The original post was on the money. His films are becoming worse and worse. Down right insulting.

You are the one who's insulting, no more...
If you don't like them, then don't watch them...
Simple enough...

Oh, Steven, you are the best, darling!
You are handsome and talented and I like everything you do...
And I do mean LIKE, hehehe...I love you just the way you are, baby...
Big and beautiful! I adore you, Steven!

Disciple

come get some
It's definitely true that the quality of his films has been in steady decline since after the Under Siege 2/Glimmer Man time. These ones he does with Oblowitz are tacky looking compared to the older stuff. It's a shame.

Sensei will always be entertaining but he needs to take his output more seriously if he wants to keep hardcore fans like myself happy.

That'd be great, although I heard Belly Of The Beast is close to old school Seagal... I definitely gotta check it out, Disciple have you seen it? What did you think?

Oblowitz is 50% of the problem!

More than that

I'd say Oblowitz is much more than 50% of the problem with regard to his latest films, Seagal is fine but they're just nowhere near as good as his old films and it's the direction that is killing them. They can be summed up in that awful scene where Michele Goh and the cop look up into the sky with a seriously awful blue screen image of an airport around them, it's just lazy film-making. I loved watching them because Seagal is in them but directors like Pyun and Oblowitz are never going to do him any favours. Regarding the Oblowitz films, the Seagal line from Ticker "Once you hit the bottom there's only one way you can go, and that's up" fits them nicely and from the good things I'm hearing about Belly of the Beast hopefully his incline starts here. PS. I really loved both Exit Wounds and Half Past Dead which were much better films, though Half Past Dead would have been so much better with graphic violence and the Seagal essential - the 'R' rating.
