Does anyone know if Steven has a pilot's liscence for real? I am thinking it's possible, because he did fly in FDB, but not thinking that was really him flying....Also does anyone know if he owns his own plane or a boat? Just being curious...These things are quite extravagant, and I don't see him being that way, not saying he shouldn't...Nothing wrong with having some nice things if you are fortunate enough...Anyone know?

Well you aren't the first one to inquire about this..from articles I have seen,they only mention that Kurt Russell is an licensed pilot.I would think that if Seagal was-they would mention that as well.

I think John Travolta is a licensed pilot as well-he's a big fan of planes and flying..Hey, he even named his son "Jet".

I remember at the old board this question coming up...and I responded that he had a liscense because someone months before wrote me about seeing him flying his plave in georgia...........tho' someone on the message board(don't remember who it was...tho' they claimed to be a pilot themself) that had access to the FAA database looked it up and didn't see Seagals' name.....I joked back and said I bet Harrison Fords name doesn't show up eithe rbu they said HF was on there.....so as of now I tend to think that he doesn't have a solo pilots liscense...but as with all Seagal info.....who knows?

It seems he visited Turboman's site, much to the delight of the message board posters there, but that's the only instance so far that I've found.

Doubtful he has a licence. A fairly obvious point to make, but just because he appears to do something in a movie doesn't mean he can do it in reality. You see him in the cockpit of a plane in Fire Down Below, but it is very doubtful that he was actually physically flying the plane. In Under Siege, Miss July asks him if he can fly the transporter helicopter and he says yes, but that doesn't mean he can do it in reality!

I do know Glimmer, that's why in my first post I was sure to mention that I didn't think it was really him flying...I am aware that in a lot of cases there are either doubles, and/or stuntmen doing things in his place...(Not in the plane scene, because you can't tell of course) Believe me I know that man's looks really well....:D I do look at him an awful lot...:D And I can usually tell right away if it's a stand in...;) But then he does do some really impressive work sometimes, like the car jump scene in Exit Wounds, for example...:) And I am sure in a lot of cases finding a double for him is not an easy thing to do...He is an awfully large fellow, and he has some skills in martial arts that most people just don't have...:)
