It was posted, then was quietly moved to Off-topic, because this was, as suzi put it, BAD for our hero.

Will they ever STOP?
I am so sick of nothing but TRASH being said about Steven! Why do so many people hate him? They never seem to bring the wonderful & passionate qualities I know this man must have. Tonight it has actually brought me to tears how these people berate and make fun of him. I am not usually this demonstrative about a man I've never met, but at one of the lowest times in my life, he quoted something in one of his films, that helped me back up and start over again. Some may find this tirade of mine very silly, (I did have brain surgery in 2000) . Yet there are many of us that idolize this man. He will always be my hero!..........love, katrina

No, Katrina, I don't think any of us find what you said silly. If so many people can keep bashing him over and over, then we have the right to stand by and defend him over and over. It's wonderful that you have that personal "connection" with Steven and that it helped you get over an undoubtedly difficult period in your life. He really is a hero!
