the thing i always found a little strange about executive decision is the way that the aforemention leguizamo who is a great and interesting actor is the way he essentially assumes what would have been seagals role has he not fell out the plane in a very understated way, the little quips and the script to me always seemed as tho it was meant for seagal. had heard there was a bit of falling out between seagal and the producers for this film, don't know if thats true or not... but sure

i thought it was a cracking film, but after 9/11 it took on a different resonance. and great to see poirot without his moustache.

anyway he turned up at the premiere, and seemed to be enjoying myself

John Leguizamo talks a whole load of bollocks, when he is as well known, can act as good, sing as good, & do martial arts as good as Steven Seagal, then let him talk about him! till then, tell him to take his oral garbage and shove it as far up his A Hole as he can get it, moronic wanker! So sorry for the use of language, but people calling Steven, when they come no-where near his standard, make me want to vomit! jealous cretins!!!

Those who can........do!
Those who can't.......teach, or in John's case.......complain.
But I wonder........would he say those things face to face with Steven?
I'm fairly sure of what Steven would do! Just laugh at the little squirt and walk away, smiling!!!
My opinion, anyway!!
God bless,

Hi Mama san, you are perfectly right! I can just see Steven standing there, laughing in his face, then walking away, probably thinking, 'silly pillock', thats what I love about him, when you see him in normal surroundings, & I've met someone who trained in Paris with him a few year back, who thinks the same, he is such a quiet humorous, gentle giant, that just laughs in the face of danger, critiscism, & fear, because he knows it will annoy that person even more, I love his gravelly voice when he sings, I love his beautiful nature, loving animals, nature, the earth, those less fortunate than himself, I love his gentle voice when he talks to the crowd! I love the way he tries to make everyone feel beautiful, he is just one absolutely amazing person, what say you Mama san????

Wether you like this guy or not he's telling the truth. I can't belive how vicious some people get towards others who are for simply telling it how it is. The bottom line is that Seagal DID take a whole day to shoot the scene and he DID refuse to shoot it at all until they brought up the small matter of a contract. At the end of the day if Seagal has read the script and still signed the contract knowing the script requires him to die, to then turn around and refuse to shoot the scene-holding up the whole movie and no doubt costing a fortune then it is him the comes across as arrogant - not John Leguizamo.
Seagal is classic but he is not perfect - i wish people would stop acting like if you dont treat him as if he's never put a foot wrong in his life your not a 'fan'. If thats the definition of fan than there are very, very few fans of anyone in the world. Liking someone doesnt mean not excepting that they may act like a git sometimes. Please - its so hard to have a debate about Seagal on this board because if you mention something that isnt heaping praise on Seagal your attacked like youve just murdered someone or something.

Oh, my!!!! You were there? Please, tell us all about it,
from beginning to end!
I don't know what went on, I don't know what happened but I
do know if, and I do mean if, he stayed in his trailer, there
must have been a good reason for it. Did John ask him?
Probably not! Too busy studying all those lines, no doubt. After
all, he did have an entire movie to work with. Seagal had only a
few scenes. And to have to die in his last scene, makes my skin
crawl. Since he did have so few scenes perhaps he just wanted
to make very sure that he played it right, to his expectations.
Play my own death scene.......I don't know that I could do that.
Seems a little eerie to me. We all have to die, hopefully, later rather
than sooner but to die the way Travis did? Yuck! No, thank you!!!
God bless,
Mama san

I wanst there but i have talked to a friend who works for Warner Bros and others in the industry and they confirmed quite a few stories about Seagal that people on here claim are rubbish or 'jealous' people trying to attack Seagal. These are people that have met, worked with him and know alot of others who have also worked with him. People who have no reason to lie about these things and as friends i dont belive they would lie - theres just no reason to. Now combine that with the fact that this guy is saying the same thing in his book and he WAS there then i at least know who im going to belive. As i said before - some people just dont seem to accept that Seagal can put a foot wrong once in his life - i dont know mabye the story is a sham and this guy risked getting taken to court for libel for fun. After all - mabye Seagal has never done anything wrong in his entire life.........

I heard that it was Seagal's idea to have him die early in Executive Decision. He wanted to do it to show that he was human and not indestructable. He was also about to film or in the midst of filming another movie at the time so he did'nt have a lot of time to be on the set of ED. The movie he was filming was Glimmer Man that would have caused a conflict if he had been on E.D. for any length of time.

He died a hero. In fact, he never really died. The film never showed us what happened to him, as it was top secret, but rest assured - I know the truth! My pussy cat, 'Mr. Flibble' was once owned by one of the crew members on Executive Decision and he has whispered to me in feline tongues exactly what happened on that fateful day. You see, Seagal's character, 'Lt. Col. Austin Travis' had secretly packed a lightweight parachute which whisked him off to safety and an early retirement on a desert island somewhere. Austin Travis is still on that desert island now. He spends his days drinking virgin's nipple milk from split coconuts and chomping on a large cigar, while still dressed in his army fatigues. On the set of the movie, Seagal used to feed Mr. Flibble tuna pasta with tiny pieces of cubed pineapple in it. Mr. Flibble likes pineapple and he also likes tinned peaches.

The more I read stuff like this...the more I agree with Mr. Flibble. :D

Seriously...I see that people argue one point or the other, but they are equally extreme. :indiffere
