Yes indeed Serena,I have been there!Scotland's fantastic!there you can see the Northern Lights!
I most definitely Love Scotland because I had a grandfather who took part in WW1,he was from Philadelphia and he was a Scottish American!
I have always thought of him as someone fantastic! It's why I learned English
and immersed myself into American Culture, even though I have still so much to learn!

Storm: Beautiful pics! :) Great spot to go bike riding. Think you could handle it now? :D Pretty picture of the sailboats.

Lonewolf: Lucky you for having seen Scotland, and even luckier you for having seen the Northern Lights! They are visible from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, where many of my pictures here were taken. But I've not seen them myself. One day I hope to. :)

Great last pic there.
This is Scammonden Reservoir. I often used to cycle up here as a teenager and around that structure jutting into the water.
The other pic is the bridge nearby in the distance of the M62 motorway. Told you England is green!
People go windsurfing on it etc too.

Those are great Storm, thanks for posting!!

This picture was taken today in the early morning fog. It's Cemetery Island, viewed from Isle Royale. Isle Royale is pure wilderness, and somewhere I've always wanted to go camping. But no one I know wants to risk running into the bears, wolves, and wolverines, among the other wild critters. :D

I like sunsets on the Sea or big Lake!
So do I, Lonewolf. :) But I also love the sunrise, sitting on the beach.
What a peaceful way to start the day. :)

Those are beautiful, Storm! :) Are they paintings? Very pretty countryside. I especially liked the second one, with the buildings, like a charming, quaint English village.

Thanks, Littledragon! :) I know you're especially fond of those types of pics and I always hope you'll see them when I put them here.

That's a great website! Maybe they have some good landscapes there. :D
I agree with you Lonewolf, except I wouldn't speak to Bob Wall.

Ye I think the only reason why Bruce Lee hired Bob Wall in all of his films was so he could beat him up. :D :D :D

Pictures of moose at Isle Royale in the U.P. of Michigan and a pic of a portion of the island, all taken Friday morning.

So you have Mooses?they've always fascinated me!
Well, not walking around where I live. :D They can be found in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. And I've never seen one myself in the wild, though many have when camping at Isle Royale, which is where these moose were spotted.

LOL you should come to Toronto - we've got them all over the city. :D
Is "moose' some kind of Canadian slang for someone? :D
Or do you mean actual moose? :D
