Sunrise, taken just this morning on Lake Superior, east of Marquette, where I still have family. I love watching a sunrise as much, if not more than a sunset. :)

You're welcome, Dani and Lollipop. :)

Thanks, GMan! :) No, I didn't take it, but there's a website based in northern Michigan, hours from where I live, where people upload their pictures of this general area (mostly the Upper Peninsula of Michigan) every day. That pic was taken this just morning and uploaded soon after.

Nice that you used it on your cellphone! :)

If you guys liked that sunrise, I'm thinking you'll love this sunset. :)

This was taken tonight on Lake Michigan, which is the Great Lake on Michigan's west border. I've spent many a night while camping sitting on a sand dune, looking out over the lake at a gorgeous, breath-taking sunset just like this. :)

I wish I lived somewhere like that... when I look out my window I see another house. :(
Me too! :D
Well, across the street, anyway. :indiffere

But I wonder if one would become "accustomed" to such a sight if we saw it every day? Hard to imagine that possibility with such beauty, though. It sure is a treat when I do see it! :)

Ah Serena...the dunes rock! I used to go to the Indiana side of Lake Michigan and fish. Caught a brown trout once.

Anyway...here's an underground landscape of my favorite places on the planet, Mammoth Cave.....it's amazing what you can find hidden underground!

Yes, he was born in Lansing, Lonewolf, which is the capital of Michigan. :)
Not too far, not too close. :D
But I have been there. :)

The dunes are beautiful! Especially the Sleeping Bear Dunes. People come from around the world to visit them. I've been there many times. :) Climbing them seems to be getting a wee bit tougher, though. :D

Nice pic of Mammoth Cave! :) I've been there several times, but it's been a while. I'd think I'd like to go back there soon--you've gotten me thinking about it again. :D
