Its getting so boring typical male bullsh.it i think they are just jealous ..No way would they even have the nouse to act even though talk ......It pisses me right off when people try to put words in my mouth...very wise to belt up ...
Plenty of people get offered jobs in movies without much acting talent. For example just about every action star around (Stallone and Willis excluded), lots of pretty girls like Lohan and Duff and the Olsens (they've been around for years becasue they're cute, but hell they can't act). Pretty boys like Paul Walker, and every 20 something love interest from a Lohan or Duff film, who usually have three pronged names like Chad Michael Murray. They can't act, they can simply read off a script page. Last movie I watched was Training Day, now watch that with Denzel and seriously tell me Seagal could pull off a performance like that. I think even Seagal knows his limitations because he sticks to a fine line of characterisation. Schwarzenegger got into the bu cuase he was built like a brick out house, Van Damme literally becasue he did a heliocopter kick in front of a producer, Seagal becasue of his Aikido and his size. Arnold is currently the highest paid actor there is. Can he act? Not really. His best performance was playing a cyborg and perhaps a pregnant man but when he's playing a real person he can't do it.
Aspiring actors don't watch Steven Seagal for useful tips, critics don;t laud praise on him for that, at best he gets let off with the word "adequate" but mosly the word "wooden" is used. It;s a staple of the action genre with critics, it's now a cliche and expected that that word shoulld appear in a review for an action film. Aspiring martial artists watch Seagal and people who love action movies. Truth is if Seagal had more than 5 facial expressions, which he doesn't, he wouldn't look such a bad ass. Sure Seagal can't pull off the performances a Denzel or a De Niro etc could do but they probably couldn't stroll into a bar full of thugs, beat the hell out of them all and look like a total bad ass doing so, like Stevo did in OFJ. If guys like Seagal could act they wouldn't send Matt Damon and Tom Cruise on a gym frnezy to do action movies. That;s why guys who can act were brought in from the late 90's onwards to try and add a new dimension to the films. Face Off was one of the best action films of the last 10 years but was initially conceived as film to bring together Stallone and Schwarzengger. That would have been cool, but not as good or engaging becxause Cage and Travolta are character actors, and have more range. They pulled off performances with subtlety.

Who cares about other actors in this site..If you want to talk about them do it on there website...This is for Steven Seagal..and for all his "true" followers to enjoy his movies, other activities he is involved in..etc...

ORANGATUANG & SUZI WONG, please wake up and smell the coffee, while Steven was probably once one of the best action movie stars of the 90's (in my opinion beating Stalonne, Arnie etc etc), he is now not even a shadow of his former self, and seeing as he can casta pretty big shadow these days thats saying something. He is now CRAP, his films are now CRAP, he cant even speak, he sounds like his chins are weighing him down, and when he does speak, they over dub him now.
i watched Clementine the other day, i knew he wasn't in it for long, but i now regret the 6 minutes of screen time he had i have now wasted from my life i could have used in the toilet doing something more productive.
i love seagal, yes i do, i love the star that made films like Exit wounds, marked for death, out for justice, but i absolutley hate the man that brings out the kind of sh!t like black dawn, out for a kill etc etc.
He should take another long break before making another film, about 60 years, then wont have to even think about watching it

But Steven is not horrible actor...Steven is still the best action star..
Gentlemen if you don't like him please don't buy his movies and don't watch to him... I enjoy to see him and I will enjoy to watch his movies forever..
