TD - I really DO like the way you think! I've chucked at a few of your entries. I have shared several of your views, but lack your talent at putting the words in print. :)

oh yeah all about the sex... im sure she was all over this guy half her age cuz she loved him =] the real question is is would she even be popular if she was not good looking? She really is nothing speical as far as acting is consurned. As for Billy Bob, before he marryed Jolie he was marryed 6 times... HOW IN THE WORLD AFTER SIX MARRAGES CAN HE BE THINKING "IT MIGHT WORK OUT THIS TIME, I NEED A 7TH". ahh i better not get started toooo far in to this one.

Thanks, Serena! Actually, it's my curse - I have the talent to write well, but not the talent to tell stories well (as my drawerful of rejection letters will attest, full of comments such as, "excellent writing, the story just doesn't do it for me" "very professional writing, but doesn't suit our needs at this time" and suchlike condemnations).

Ah, well. I will keep toiling away. At least the editors aren't lining their bird cages with my poor little stories, or using the pages to make paper airplanes. There is hope.

I didn't see Hackers, but I did like The Bone Collector. The trouble is, the whole Billy Bob thing grossed me out so much I couldn't stand looking at her (because every time I'd seen her on Entertainment Tonight, I saw her snogging Billy Bob, and that was an image I really didn't want to be reminded of) let alone spending money to see her in a film. And Gino, it wasn't fame and fortune for Jolie with Billy Bob - it was all about the sex.

You must be thinking of J-Lo. Now there's someone who will latch on to any man for fame and fortune.
do you even like men?

Just because I think Billy Bob Thornton is a skank, I don't like men? How'd you figure that?

My dad is always saying how very homely she is...
I think she used to have very pretty hair, though...

Junior, you're talking in riddles. TDWoj, i hope you get a best seller for all your efforts. Here we get criminals like Jeffrey Archer (former MP) who wrote a book about his time inside and made a fortune! He was already very rich, but there is the demand.

Yeah, I'm confused too. Don't have any idea what Fox is talking about.

As for my writing, since starting to watch Steven's movies, I've come up with five ideas for novels, for which I've written brief outlines so that I don't forget what I was thinking about when I thought of them. It's going to be fun working on them.

Let me know if you have any success. All the best. When you're on t.v. and they all want to know what your next novel is it'll all be worth it.

TD;

There are a lot of online sites where you can submit articles & have them published...I know of someone that writes history articles & has them printed online.
Also some writer groups online incase you're interested

TD, I think Jennifer Lopez already makes really good money doesn't she?
Well, maybe this is lately...
But the one guy she married was a dancer and I don't think he had much money...
People do fall in love, it's not all a money thing all the time...
Personally, I couldn't be with someone just for the money, if I didn't like them I couldn't be with them, and that's the facts...
Of course having some makes life a whole lot easier, I don't think it's a big turn off to most people, it's a plus I imagine...
But it can't be the be all and end all either, if the feelings aren't there, then they aren't there, and no amount of money can buy real affection...
I heard somewhere the the one of the major reasons for most fights and later divorces is having frequent financial dissagreements...
So I understand why someone's finances are an issue in a relationship...
Of course infidelity is a major one cause as well...

I know about some of the online writers groups. I'm actually in a workshop (live). So far, I remain the only one unpublished. Well, that's not strictly true - I sold a poem to a magazine that has yet to see publication (which reminds me - I need to e-mail the editor AGAIN. If he's not going to publish the poem - it's been two years since I made the sale - I want the rights back so I can hawk it elsewhere).

The poem was a one-off. I suspect that what I am is a novelist, and I've been trying too hard to write short stories. In my field - science fiction and fantasy - the best way to get editorial attention is to publish short fiction first. (There are some notable exceptions to this, of course.)

Of course, if I didn't spend so much time here on this message board, I probably would get a lot more writing done....

She's definitely a climber - each relationship/marriage has been the next step up the ladder of fame and fortune. She's not much of an actress - a one trick pony, at best (anybody remember Anaconda?). I wonder what the odds are that she and Ben Affleck (another no-talent pretty face whose attraction and accolades escape me) will even get married, let alone the marriage lasting more than five minutes.

Ah, well. Leave 'em to it. I can't think of two people more dull (and therefore probably deserving of each other) than Affleck and Lopez.

Well, I never would have really imagined them as a couple...
I have never been a fan of either one of them...
And generally, I am not impressed with who is who in hollywood in the least...
Lots of people are so-called stars who I really tend to wonder about...
That's one thing I really admire about Steven he climbed the ladder all by himself...
