I was watching that film late one night, and between the commercials, the annoucer guy kept saying "we now return to 'Executive Decision' starring Steven Seagal" way after he died in the movie. Mr. Soul kept saying "Uh...he's dead!" I kept saying "Rub it in Mr. Soul...laugh while you can!"

Now I understand the thread...the title threw me :)

I just say that he was wearing an parachute that we didn't see & they didn't want to take away Kurt Russells fan fare at the end by having him show up again :)

Amos...I think I like your version of the story better! Let's also say that he landed in my treehouse, where we had a tea party, then made mad passionate love!

This is the funniest thing I have read in a while. :D R.I.P. indeed! Hahahahaha! I understand though. When I first saw Executive Decision about 10 years ago, I was briefly saddened by this turn of events (i.e. his death also. I wept for days.

as for Kurt Russell (who)?...

He's a relatively famous actor. In Big Trouble In Little China he drives a truck called 'The Pork Chop Express'!

Kurt Russell: Dad, Can I Borrow the Car? (I think that was his first - well, you can't really call it a movie. It was a Walt Disney production, not exactly a documentary, but sort of along those lines.)

I have had "Executive Decision" sitting around as part of my "Steven Seagal Collection" blu ray set for about 4 years or so, and finally got around to watching it last night. The main reason why I didn't race to watch it is because apparently Steven is only in the first 10 minutes (naturally I was aware his character died). But he's actually in the first 44 minutes of the film!

Interest went down a bit once he was gone naturally but it was an okay movie, perhaps a little long.
