I know you're due back sometime today, Amos, so welcome back.
I know how eager you were to build that snowman you've never built, so here are some helpful tips:

1) Keep your snowman well protected from the bad snowmen.
2) Smoking is a definite health hazard.
3) Contrary to popular myth, don't use a carrot for the nose.
4) Don't make your snowman too small.
5) How to dispose of him when the Arizona heat finally gets to be too much.

Welcome back when you return! I have blamed everything that went wrong this week on you, sorry! I knew you were not here to get me so I thought it would be okay?!?!?!?
We missed Heather's big day Australia Day , if you would have been here you would have posted in Current News and all would have been right in the world today!!!!!!!!
Really I know I told you I was a Lollipop don't take me seriously, but we missed you!

Gee thanks everybody,as I wipe the tears.

I made snowball when I got there & placed it on the handicapp parking sign outside the room..someone took it! Geez..nothing is safe! Then ofcourse made more snowballs to throw around & a couple snowmen

Went up to Snowbowl...elevation too high Andddddddd took skiing lessons HEY I was not the worst student & I am still alive!

Hotels free continental breakfast was great..I miss the food But I miss the SNOW more..like leaving an old friend

I will probably have snow withdrawal soon

LOL snow withdrawl ha, ha, ha.....sigh....not with two feet onthe ground!

I want to go to Florida for the winter....I am too young to be a snow bird and go south for the winter like many elderly I know. Bummer!

Did someone take your snowball or did it melt? And skiing lessons! Good for you. Who says you can't teach an old dog, eh? Ready for that bunny hill in my backyard now?

Amos I know this is late but I'm so glad that you had so much fun on your trip. WOW skiing, I used to ski all the time in the winter, it was my favorite season. I tried to teach my hubby but he went down on his butt and then went into the bar and started drinking. I can tell that you were better than him. I like the hats that are on the snowmen.
I bet you can't wait until you see more snow again.

Nice pics, Amos! The one on the right shows what looks to be a beautiful area.
And pretty good snowmen for your first attempt!

But I will be giving lessons here in Michigan on how to build a snowman, since we still have that foot of snow from the blizzard last week. Shall I enroll you?

My cub is going to post a picture of how a bunch of New Yorkers make a snow man.....
...........Here is my cub "Little Wombat" last year with Mr. Snowman. My husband had to use a loader to put Mr.Snowmans head on.

Jules I have made some big snowmen before but not that big. How did you get that head on without it falling and breaking?

All I know is they used a loader, and probably packed the snow around the neck. My husband is 6foot 4 inches tall and Mr. Snowman was taller.
