You should check the stats again, and Leafs as of yesterday clinched the playoffs and are in the top 5 in the NHL standings right now (as far as Detroit goes, I'll cheer for them only IF the Leafs get booted out of play-offs... that's an IF I didn't even want to say).

Well, those were the stats as of yesterday afternoon as far as Detroit. And you're right about the Leafs, of course. Sorry about thinking them in last place.

As of today at 11:09 a.m. per NHL.com, the Red Wings (Western Conference) and Tampa Bay (Eastern Conference) are tired at 97 points, with the closest being Philadelphia at 94. See what can happen in 24 hours?

P.S. Toronto has 92 points.
