First Serena thank you for your lovely message. Now to the program I thought
it was great. I loved the scene with the kids where they all call him Uncle Steven.
It really showed the things that I always believed about him. But when there is so
much bad publicity, sometimes I began to wonder what he was really like, this show
brought all of the good points of his life. Also even though I bought the CD when it
was first available in France, I will certainly buy again when it goes on sale in the U.S.
Hope everyone else enjoyed it.

Well I watched the show last night and thought it was good, and I also liked it when they brought out all the good qualities instead of they bad, it is real good to watch something good about Steven than reading all that bad stuff

I agree with you Yudansha, and good review. I am so happy they placed the emphasis on his positive side and not the negative "tabloid" style of documentary I have seen on him before.

Another nice thing was he called Isoyama Shihan "Sensei" still, that is something. And when they talked about the "Challenges" they would take. Not too many sensei can say that they and the student went out and did that. LOL!!!!!!

Very very very positive and a good program. I hope there are more like this in the future.

Yes, those two masters sure share a great bond!

I also found it quite funny when they talked about their 'challenges' ... although I don't think those were much of a challenge (maybe only due to the quantity of them) ... but yes, I found it funny how they chose their words so carefully and took a second or two to think about how to explain those experiences on camera ... they never put down their opponents but did state the point that those were good times they shared.

To me it was sort of like one of those Shakespearean moments ... like in Hamlet ... at the end, there still remained the student and a teacher and their memories of their shared experiences.

I would also say that the documentary would encourage the viewers to contribute to society and help someone who's in need. Volunteer work does pay off eventhough it may not seem some times. That's why I'm proud of Canada's new school policy that requires every student to commit at least 40 hours of community service as a requirement for graduation. Many friends of mine were reluctant at first (that thought of working for 'free') but once they got going, they loved the work and stayed for much longer.

Steven Seagal has donated so much and yet stayed so quiet and unknown in that sense. Such deeds are very respectable. I think that when you volunteer, the help provided should be genuine and come from the heart rather than looking for 'thanks' from others and in turn seeking public attention like some other Hollywood personas.

Steven Seagal is an amazing role model for all.

This must be my lucky day, I have not had time to visit this website for more
than a few minutes since my surgery on Dec. 5th. I am fine, just have very, very,
very much work, and of course getting ready for Christmas. Had a houseful on
Sunday since part of my family will be gone over Christmas. Am having the others to
my house before Church on Christmas Eve, don't know when this old woman will
slow down, but now for my good luck I do have the A&E Channel, so I can see Steven
tonight makes all my work worth while I will try to tape in case someone else
needs a copy but have been having problems with my VCR,actually at least I will
have it to look at over & over again on my pvr. In case I get busy again wishing

You're welcome, littledragon. Yes, I mailed all four on the same day (last Monday) from the same post office. They said 4-5 business days, so I would think by tomorrow or Tuesday at the very latest, allowing for the holiday. But this time I kept a copy, just in case.
