OK, folks, STEVEN IS IN NEW ORLEANS. I personally saw the interview tonight on MSNBC. He is helping out an old friend -a sheriff - and had a badge on and will be helping with the SWAT team! It was Steven. Tonight on MSNBC. They may re-air the segment tonight of you watch it. This was a live newscast 9/12. It was on MSNBC "Rita Cosby Live and Direct" and will re-air tonight (tomorrow morning) central daylight time 12 am to 1 am. I'm taping it. Will transcribe the interview hopefully.

Steven looked like he was trying to stay out of the limelight, very humble and very serious.

She wouldn't have to; the original poster said Steven was spotted in N.O. days ago, and we knew that just wasn't true, because he was still in Romania at the time the rumour got started.

If he's there now, good on him; but I still haven't seen anything posted on the news, so until suzi finds pictures, for me, it's still a rumour.

I checkout all newspapers, all TV stations from internet and from my cable system and there is no news about him.. But Kickinbird said she saw in TV..
Either press doesn't interest with him or he is not there.. I am still following..

I hope we will find..

I saw the interview as well. The Sheriff confirmed Seagal was in Romania, but that he was just now able to come into New Orleans after much playing of the phone tag game. He said he met Seagal 15 yrs ago, after Seagal was training his officers and hand to hand & gun techniques, and they have been friends ever since. Seagal was to ride along in with the Sheriff & SWAT troops that night (last night). The reporter asked Seagal how he and the sheriff met, what he was doing there, what he will be doing there, and his views on scenes of destruction.

Seagal looked looked like he had short hair again, and at least wasn't wearing his stupid long ass coat.

This wasn't a "story", it was a live interview on national TV. I saw it and someone else saw it here. It happened; the reporter just grabbed these two people to talk to (Seagal and the sherif) just like all the reporters have been doing on the street - it wasn't advertised or anything.

Why do people have such a hard time believing this ? This is too funny...!!

Sorry my English is so bad, when I say story there was no hard feeling behind. As a huge Steven Seagal fan I off cause want to know as much as possible about the man , and I know for sure I am not alone in that.. I believe you, no doubt about that, therefore I have send the E-mail to MSNBC and asking them to put the Interview on there website, as an European we are not so lucky that we can watch every TV channel broadcasting around our wonderful globe.
