Come on, admit it. You can't stay mad at him for too long, can you?
Reservoir Dog said:I think he has actually lost a bit of weight.
Look at this older photo of him at Ray Charle's funeral.
This is the recent photo. He looks a little slimmer.
Serena said:Well done once again, Suzi! Thanks.
So--just how long WERE you hanging around that airport?
littledragon869 said:Wait she actually was there and took it herself?
Was Suzi actually there to take the pic??Serena said:Well, we can't REALLY give away any of Suzi's picture-finding secrets now, can we?
I don't know what would cause his weight gain, and constant weight change, but I find it funny that a vegaterian would be overweight, I guess after eating a salad he still has some room for Tora's cake.Reservoir Dog said:Someone here probably knows more about this issue than me, but I am thinking it is not from overeating. I think it is stress related and or alcohol consumption. Seagal is 6'4, and being that tall, you would think it would take a lot of work for him to gain and lose weight as often as he does just by changing his eating habits. My prediction is that he is drinking heavily or has a condition affecting his metabolism, which may very well be the case.
I wish him the best, but I would prefer for him to take some time off. In the long run, he would be helping his career, and it would be nice to see him putting more effort into his films.

Naw, it's just that awful frizzy mullet he's affected lately. I wish he would put his hair in a ponytail - leaving it loose out behind like that is something of a turn-off for me. Either that, or cut it short.ORANGATUANG said:Thanks Suzi once again you come up with the goods..excellent photo and yes he is handsome as always..Is that a ponytail i see?...

TDWoj said:But he's had issues with his weight right from the get-go. You can see it progress - the more successful he became, the heavier he got.
In Above the Law, he was a skinny fellow in peak condition. In Hard to Kill, he was about 10 pounds heavier. In Marked for Death and Out for Justice, he was about 20-30 pounds heavier. He scaled back a little for Under Seige and On Deadly Ground, then starting with Under Seige 2, it was up, up, up, until WB forced him to slim down for Exit Wounds, where he was still about 30-35 pounds heavier than he was in Above the Law.
Ticker, HPD, Foreigner, OFAK and BOTB - again you can see the progression upward. By this point, I suspect, he was no longer training at all - and four hours a day of meditation instead of the 8 hours a day training as he had done in his youth has taken its toll.
He probably is drinking - that baggy-eyed constant state of hangover look is plainly seen on his face; he's aged visibly and a lot more than he should have in the past three years. But we had an article posted here last year where it was reported that he was on a diet to lose 24 pounds for Out of Reach, so it's clear he's also got the munchies as well. Not to mention he's only a vegetarian when he feels like being one. The problem with being a vegetarian is that it's very easy to consume rather more carbohydrates and fat than someone who eats a more balanced diet.
The bottom line is that he is not taking care of his health. I'll bet he hasn't been to see a Western doctor since Kelly left him, probably preferring to attend eastern mystics and Chinese or Hindi witch doctors. (He was, at one point, endorsing these "supplements" developed by someone highly suspect in terms of medical background, which tells me he hasn't got the sense to know that one doesn't need "supplements" if one eats properly.) A visit to a Western doctor would probably reveal serious medical problems that he'd rather not know about.
