Thanks all. Once that lot get hold of you there is no escape! Where are all the pretty nurses? There are plenty of middle aged matrons who look like they are dying to give you an enema! Lol:D
My kind surgeon let me home for the weekend when he found out it's my birthday soon.He's a good guy. I find having a laugh with the staff and being polite helps a lot. Who wants a pain in the ass patient? Hey,this gay nurse keep asking me how i am. He's a very nice fella actually.
So i have a reprieve until Mon,when he is putting me under again next week to check on the work he did on Wed. I am hopeful i am edging out of what has been a torrid time. We shall see. Thanks again folks! I will post a bit over weekend when i can.

That's great you'll be home for your birthday, Storm. :) I remember where you were your last birthday. It's good to have you back with us for the weekend. Rest!!! :D But get on when you can.

I mean on the forum. :D

Well i won't be getting on any nurses! *snigger*.
Is that politically correct here? Heh. One nurse does keep calling me "gorgeous" but she DOES wear glasses. Maybe they need readjusting huh? It's kind of funny when you are waiting for an op,as i am not a "poorly" looking guy. In fact i look perfectly healthy,but must stay in for observation until the time comes,so i was amazed he took the chance to let me out.
Amazing what a shower,hair gel and a shave can do for your demeanour.I only slept 2 hours last night. Stayed up watching cable tv all night on pay per view boxes they have in your rooms now,and tapping coffees off the night nurses.Thurs night they took a drip out of my arm and i thought nothing of it. I woke up half an hour later and there was blood all over the sheets and the floor. It had started again. That woke me up i tell you! What a mess.

Funny--when many people hear I'm a nurse, they often say, "Oh, I couldn't take the sight of blood." Gotta tell you--when you're a nurse, blood is one of the least objectionable bodily fluids. :D

I'm amazed they let you out for the weekend too, Storm. Though you maybe looking sharp with your shower and hair gel, just remember...........Oh, the heck with it. :D Have fun this weekend and enjoy your birthday! :)

Today is the day of Storm's next procedure. Hopefully it won't be as extensive as it was last week and with luck he may be home much quicker. Thinking of you, Storm, and wishing you the best of luck today! :)

Yes it went ok yesterday.I felt like i had swallowed a hot coal but i'm ok now. As they wheeled me in to theatre a doc ran through and said "Has he signed a consent form?".
I said" Yes i have. I now own a villa in Portugal!". All the staff burst out laughing,except the stoney faced surgeon. Timeshares in places like Portugal sell well here (bad when you have to explain lol).I was not worried. You have to be philosophical about going under a general anaesthetic. The lad before me was terrified and they had heavily sedated him.
I was up half the night all the time,and the nurses were very accomodating.......with coffee!Heh.
Anyway it's good to be out. Thanks all who asked about me.Things are looking up.
One more thing...I got an e mail from Glimmer Man.He is living with his girlfriend these last 6 months and will get a net connection in the next few. He asked if we all still came here. And he's still trying to be a cop:D
