Yes i had the joy of working with those great big guys and they are "gentle gaints" and its just another experience i have .....

my sister has a passion for horses too. Since she's a little girl, she practices horse riding. And this year she started jumping. I do love horses too. I had the opportunity to horse ride with the Gardians (french cow-boys) in Camargue (south France). that's a wonderful souvenir for me

Well it hit our previous home, came in through a power line, demolished all TV"s and microwave!! We felt lucky!!

That also happened to my family in 1985. I lived with my grandmother when that hit our house. We got the TV demolished as well and some different 'small' details, as the hi-fi stereo, but happiness the house not came down. I was very scared of the thunderstorms since I was a child. Believe me, when it came on our house in 1985, that not really helped. When I got my first flat and while quite few years, every time there was a thunderstorm, I went directly to bed lol. Now, I can stay on my veranda and I'm not scared anymore.

hello fio. This year, there were a lot of surprises in Roland Garros Puerta, davidenko, Pierce, ...). I've been a little bit disappointed by the semi-finals between Nadal and Federer. federer didn't play very good.
And during the final, Nadal didn't play as good as during the semi-finals but he won and i'm happy for him 'cos' he seems to be a nice guy(as federer).
The women finals was very disappointing. No game. Justine was playing alone.
Now i'm waiting for wimbledon.
I'd like to see how nadal is going to manage there.!!!

Yes, I agree with you pantera, Federer didn't play good. But Nadal is a rock, for sure. I just hope that they will show the Wimbledon tournament on TV, because it's not sure yet. Hopefully the Federer matches.

I had to go out for a few, it is hot and storm clouds are forming!!

But when I got back Dell had sent my son a brand new laptop!!
Even the carry case is new! They have good service!
I don't know if they were able to retrieve any files and load in the new
one! I am not going to touch, hopefully he will come home this weekend and get!

But my other son made me very proud, late yesterday at work he was busy doing paperwork, but got a huge lunch crowd! So he went out to help!

He noticed some people that looked like they were from the Middle East and may be Muslim!!
Later he saw the waitress take the plates out and notice that they had ordered Pork BBQ, he immediately went out and introduced himself!! And ask did they practiced the Muslim faith, he said they look scared!! That is a shame!! But they said yes they did, he proceeded to tell them they had ordered Pork and he had other things they could eat!! They were not aware of what BBQ is here! He said they were so grateful they kept coming to him and thanking him!! That would have been a horrible thing for them if they had found out later!
These are times when you are proud to know you raised your children to respect everyone, no matter race,creed or religous belief!!
We are all the same! Respect each other, each brings something good to the table!!

My lips are sealed...I will be glad when Saturday comes i will going horse riding all day through an forrest there are these huge butterflies that land on the horses and the riders ..its an amazing experience and its so relaxing too...we have an picnic lunch and get back to the farm about 4pm..I dont go to school on Monday as its an public holiday...iam thinking of ringing up my freind around the corner and see if i can come an have an spa my muscles need it...

This sounds so wonderful, Heather! How peaceful and relaxing this would be.
I've always wanted to go horseback riding--maybe it's not too late, eh?

And you have a nice long weekend on top of it! Enjoy!
But maybe you should save that phone call to your friend until AFTER the horseback ride, eh?

thanx fo worrying, serena.
No, i don't take any anti-inflammatory and wear no bandages. The bus strike is over since last thursday. So since thursday, i've got buses and have less problem with my knee.
Still, i've some pain with soe movements but the doctor said i will have pain for couple of months.
I don't wanna take any longer break . The sport season is over at the end of this month which means that i've got 4 or 5 more lessons. After that, the club will be closed for 2 months. I will have to months for my knee to rest.
There's just an aikido seminary at the end of August where we normally go.
So today, i go back to my aikido lesson. I called my teacher to ask him if he agreed. he said ok 'cos' i had a paper from the doctor.
I really missed that 'cos' it helps me to forget for a while all those sad feelings i have. It helps me to calm down when there's something borring me. I need to practice sport for my mind and my body.
i'll try to be carefull. I've some bandages with me if i feel that my knee need some support.

Well, I do worry a bit, though I try not to nag.
And, now that I said that... Have you ever considered taking an anti-inflammatory?

I am glad to hear that the bus strike is finally over! And it's great you'll have a couple months to rest your knee during the summer. So go back and enjoy, Pantera. I know you'll be cautious--without being too paranoid. It's something you love so much, and you've been forced to be out of it for a long time now. It will do wonders for your peace of mind!

I'm very impressed by your son's behavior, Lollipop, and I know you must be extremely proud of him! I'm surprised a young person would even know about that dietary custom, much less go out of his way to assist them.

I keep saying, Lollipop, and it's true--those boys are a terrific reflection of the way you raised them.

Not so proud now, here we go again that rollercoaster ride!!
I have spent some time in my kitchen this afternoon!
Everything was in the wrong place and my sister is coming over
tomorrow and she would feel she had to clean!! She is not well! So I did it myself!!

But that wonderful son has been here about 30 minutes and I think he has pulled everything back out!!! Cereal, milk, bread, butter(real) cinnamon sugar, orange juice!!
Dishes are everywhere! I think I am going to go to bed! And when I wake up tomorrow I will see the past 8months have been a dream!!(or nightmare)

Its never to late Serena ..Like everything in life just start off slow and soon you will have that this acheived it took me nearly an year to learn how to ride and i can even ride side-saddle which is not all its cracked up to be...i better go soon iam going to go to an movie iam going to see Mr.&Mrs.Smith...I dont really like Brad Pitt but the chick in it is one of my favourite female actors..

Today, i'm back to my office in one piece . I' feel good
But yesterday i could feel pain on my sprain for some movements. So i knew right away that i really had to be carefull.
So i took it easy in the falling and rolling. especially the backard ones.
it hurt but the doctot had told me that the would remain couples of month. The most important is that i didn't injury myself, i've been careful and enjoyed the lesson. Especially we trained with the weapons (the wood katana)

He goes to a large school they have everything med. school law school !
He worked his butt off to get there!!
